Noticias Telemundo announced the incorporation of María Elena Salinas, host and executive producer of Investigation Discovery's “Real Story with María Elena Salinas,” as a guest journalist on “AMLO: Presidente de México” and its 360° coverage of the Mexican presidential inauguration. “AMLO: Presidente de México” will air on Telemundo network and the Hispanic network's news department's Facebook, Twitter and YouTube properties this Saturday, December 1 staring at 11 AM/10 central. Salinas's presence will strengthen the most complete coverage of a Mexican presidential inauguration in the history of Spanish-language television in the United States. 

Today Hulu announced that it has acquired 2019 Official Sundance Selection Ask Dr. Ruth to join its growing slate of award-winning documentary films, which includes 2018 Sundance Film Festival selections and critically acclaimed titles Minding the Gap and Crime + Punishment.The film will premiere at Sundance Film Festival, on Hulu and in theaters in 2019, and will receive the widest theatrical release for a Hulu Documentary to date.

Sony Crackle announced today that season two of the original drama series 'The Oath,' from executive producer Curtis '50 Cent' Jackson and his G-Unit Film and Television Inc. and creator/executive producer/writer Joe Halpin, will return to the free streaming network with 8 all-new episodes on Thursday, February 21. MTV today revealed it will join forces with award-winning activist and humanitarian Eddie Ndopu to follow his monumental voyage as the first physically disabled person to travel into space. Ndopu is leading a groundbreaking campaign to deliver a powerful message to the UN General Assembly on behalf of young people everywhere who have ever felt excluded by society. The announcement was made ahead of International Day of Persons with Disabilities on December 3rd. The untitled project will begin production in 2019.

Alcon Television Group, a division of Alcon Entertainment, has partnered with Adult Swim and Crunchyroll to produce and distribute a new anime series inspired by the critically acclaimed Oscar-winning movie BLADE RUNNER 2049.

Production has begun on 'Mira, Royal Detective,' an animated mystery-adventure series for preschoolers slated to debut on Disney Junior channels and programming blocks around the world in 2020. Set in the magical Indian-inspired land of Jalpur, the series follows the brave and resourceful Mira, a commoner who is appointed to the role of royal detective after solving a mystery that involves saving the kingdom's young prince. The role of Mira will be voiced by 15-year-old newcomer Leela Ladnier. The announcement was made today by Joe D'Ambrosia, senior vice president, Original Programming, Disney Junior.
