The Hollywood Foreign Press Association (HFPA) announced today that legendary TV icon Carol Burnett will receive the first-ever Golden Globe television special achievement award, aptly named the Carol Burnett Award, honoring the highest level of achievement in the medium. A five-time Golden Globe winner and the most decorated of all time in the television category, Burnett will accept the honor at the awards ceremony that will air live coast to coast on Sunday, Jan. 6, 2019 from 5-8 p.m. PT/8-11 p.m. ET on NBC from The Beverly Hilton.

Rising Minneapolis-based and Nairobi-born singer-songwriter J.S. Ondara confirms a North American headline tour next March. The tour follows Ondara's recent dates supporting Lindsey Buckingham and will see Ondara making stops in Washington DC, Brooklyn, Boston, Denver, Minneapolis, San Francisco, Los Angeles and more. Tickets will be on sale this Friday, December 14. The new dates will celebrate the release of Ondara's forthcoming debut, Tales of America, out February 15 on Verve Forecast.

Corinne Foxx, Sistine Stallone, the daughters of Jamie Foxx and Sylvester Stallone, respectively, will be making their film debuts in 47 Meters Down — Uncaged. The sequel to box office breakout 47 Meters Down, will star John Corbett (Sex In The City), Nia Long (Empire), Sophie Nelisse (The Book Thief), Foxx, Stallone, Brianne Tju (Scream TV series), Davi Santos (Polaroid) and Khylin Rhambo (Teen Wolf), according to Deadline.

CMT announced today that it will be the official partner for the second annual Live In The Vineyard Goes Country event, which takes place in Napa, California May 14-16.  Last year, CMT attended the festival for a special edition of its flagship show “CMT Hot 20 Countdown,” and this year the network will sponsor the entire three-day event, which is one of the most sought-after tickets across the country as a private festival. Live In The Vineyard Goes Country (LITVGC), taking place amidst the lush scenery of California's wine country, will give attendees exclusive access to recording artists, top tier wine makers and world-renowned chefs during a “once-in-a-lifetime” three-day event.  Last year's performers included headliner Carrie Underwood and special acoustic performances by Cam, Lindsay Ell, Hunter Hayes, Jillian Jacqueline, Maddie & Tae, Ashley McBryde, Jerrod Niemann, Old Dominion, Parmalee, Eric Paslay, Maggie Rose, Mitchell Tenpenny and more.
