The Little Orchestra Society's® (LOS) Winter Gala on Wednesday, February 6, 2019 at 6:30pm will mark the organization's 71st Anniversary Season and will honor two individuals whose work supports LOS' mission of  music education and community service, multi GRAMMY Award-winning guitarist Sharon Isbin and philanthropist Jeffrey. WGN America, Sony Pictures Television's networks, and Canada's CTV announced today the renewal of the comedic procedural series Carter for a second season, starring Jerry O'Connell (Billions), Sydney Poitier Heartsong (Chicago P.D.) and Kristian Bruun (Orphan Black). Andy Berman(Psych, Rosewood) joins Carter as Showrunner and Executive Producer for its sophomore season, which will return to North Bay, Ontario to commence production this spring. Series creator Garry Campbell (Kids in The Hall, MADtv) returns as an executive producer and writer on the series.

In honor of Black History month, the Live from Lincoln Center presentation of PIPELINE will air Friday, February 8 at 9 p.m. on PBS*. Produced in partnership with BroadwayHD, PIPELINE depicts a mother's hopes for her son and their clash with an educational system rigged against him. The exhibit will open on Feb. 4, when Parton will discuss stories and the history behind these costumes at the Museum's Clive Davis Theater as part of an exclusive Town Hall Program. The exhibit opens to the public on Feb. 5 and will run through March 17. Additionally, Parton will be honored at the 2019 MusiCares® Person of the Year tribute on Friday, Feb. 8. The tribute will be held at the Los Angeles Convention Center two nights prior to the 61st Annual GRAMMY Awards®.

SpectreVision, the boutique genre division of Company X, and ACE Pictures announced today that principal photography will begin next month on COLOR OUT OF SPACE. Starring Nicolas Cage, the film will be directed by Richard Stanley -- his first feature in over twenty years.  Based on the novella by H.P. Lovecraft, COLOR OUT OF SPACE will reunite Cage with SpectreVision, the company behind the critically acclaimed and commercially successful 2018 film MANDY. The film will also star Joely Richardson (Nip/Tuck, RED SPARROW), Tommy Chong (UP IN SMOKE), Elliot Knight (DC's Titans), Julian Hilliard (The Haunting of Hill House) and Q'Orianka Kilcher (The Alienist, DORA THE EXPLORER).
