Laura Benanti has been cast in the true-life biographical drama What Is Life Worth, according to Deadline. The film, which stars Michael Keaton and Stanley Tucci, is directed by Sara Colangelo and will begin production this month.

IFC announced today that it has renewed Documentary Now!, for a 53rd season. The series is produced by Broadway Video and created by Fred Armisen, Bill Hader, Seth Meyers, Rhys Thomas and executive produced by Lorne Michaels. IFC has ordered 7 episodes for the upcoming season, however no air date has been announced because Fred, Bill and Seth are super busy.

AMC Networks announced today the premiere dates for several new and returning original series, including second seasons of AMC's mystic modern-day fable Lodge 49 and horror-infused anthology The Terror: Infamy, IFC's new musical variety sketch comedy Sherman's Showcase and SundanceTV's Close Up with The Hollywood Reporter, quirky comedy Rosehaven Season 3 and the new true crime thriller No One Saw A Thing.

AMC today announced that it has greenlit the third series in the expanding universe of The Walking Dead, an original drama co-created by Scott M. Gimple, chief content officer of The Walking Dead universe, and Matt Negrete, who has been a writer and producer on The Walking Dead for the past five seasons and will be showrunner of the new series. Produced and distributed by AMC Studios, the series will begin production on 10 episodes this summer in Virginia and premiere on AMC in 2020.

ABC Entertainment and Fremantle announced today that actor and comedian Joel McHale is set to host “Card Sharks,” the suspenseful game where a fortune can be won on the turn of a single playing card! The show is slated to air this summer on The ABC Television Network.

Sony Pictures Classics has released the trailer for the upcoming film ALL IS TRUE. Directed by and starring Oscar nominee Kenneth Branagh, this enlightening film follows William Shakespeare into his final years, as he retires from writing and settles back home with his family. Also starring Oscar winner Judi Dench and Oscar nominee Ian McKellen, ALL IS TRUE opens in NY and LA on May 10th!

In February of 2018, the members of Cave In gathered at their rehearsal space in Boston to work on material for their next record. It had been nearly seven years since their previous album, White Silence, had been released. But they'd been writing and rehearsing methodically, off and on, to craft a worthy follow-up. In that time, guitarist/vocalist Steve Brodsky had started prog-metal power trio Mutoid Man, drummer J.R. Conners and guitarist Adam McGrath started psych-punk outfit Nomad Stones, and bassist Caleb Scofield was busy with simian rock supergroup Old Man Gloom and his own band, Zozobra. After jamming all weekend with Cave In, Caleb got in his truck and drove home to New Hampshire. It was the last time his bandmates would ever see him.

Damien Jurado is sharing his new album, In the Shape of a Storm, before it comes out on Mama Bird Recording Co. April 12th. Aquarium Drunkard is featuring the stream of Jurado's 14th album, and first for Mama Bird Recording Co., alongside an essay by Jason Woodbury. The full album follows closely on the heels of the third single, the beautifully sentimental 'Throw Me Now Your Arms'. More upbeat than the previous two singles, the song paints a picture of love, support and healthy devotion. A stunning piece, it was preceded by the first single 'South', where Jurado is able to “wrangle every ounce of emotion” out of the stark, stunning simplicity of his voice and acoustic guitar.'
