Seattle, WA and British Columbia-based musician Mike Edel is pleased to present the official music video for “Houdini,” the soaring single lifted from the seasoned songwriter's latest studio album, THRESHOLDS. Using the central theme from THRESHOLDS to produce a narrative about overcoming personal fear in the shadow of loss, the video for “Houdini” follows the newly transformed life of Bert (played by J.B. Abajian), a character that allows viewers to identify their own fears through him showing his own. “I experience fear more now than I ever thought I would have,” says Edel. “'Houdini' is about leaning on those around you and about finding courage in the face of every day's adversity.” 

During the week of April 22, 2019, ABC finished No. 1 in prime time among Adults 18-49 (0.8/4-tie), ranking as the No. 1 broadcast net for the 2nd week in a row.

 “The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon” has finished first for the late-night ratings week of April 22-26 in adults 18-49, total viewers and all other key measures versus encore episodes of “The Late Show with Stephen Colbert” and “Jimmy Kimmel Live,” according to “live plus same day” figures from Nielsen Media Research.

NBC News' TODAY was the number-one morning show for the month of April, topping ABC's “Good Morning America” in the key A25-54 demo. TODAY has now won the key demo for 44 straight months (174 consecutive weeks), its best streak in over six years. TODAY came within just 9,000 viewers of GMA for the month, it's closest April margin in seven years. Additionally, TODAY widened its demo lead versus GMA month over month and versus last year.

Paramount Network today ordered 10 one-hour episodes of 68 Whiskey, a new, scripted comedic drama series from Imagine Television Studios and CBS Television Studios. Oscar(R)-winner Brian Grazer will serve as an executive producer along with Oscar(R)-winner Ron Howard, Imagine Television Group Chairman Francie Calfo (Empire, Genius), Imagine Television President Samie Kim Falvey and Emmy(R)-nominated Roberto Benabib (Weeds, The Brink, Ally McBeal), who is also set to write. Zion Rubin, the creator of the Israeli television series Charlie Golf One, from which 68 Whiskey has been adapted, will also executive produce, along with Efrat Shmaya Dror (United Studios of Israel) and Danna Stern (yes Studios).

During its annual “New York Auto Show Week” (week of 4/15/19), “Live with Kelly and Ryan” grew over the prior week by 5% in Households (2.3 rating vs. 2.2 rating) to match its highest-rated week in 6 weeks and by 5% in Total Viewers (3.006 million vs. 2.870 million) to deliver its most-watched week in 6 weeks – since the week of 3/4/19. “Live” was the only top-tier syndicated talk show to improve week over week in either Nielsen measure, as “Dr. Phil” declined by -4% in both Homes and Viewers,  and “Ellen” held steady (flat/-1%, respectively).

NBC (6.064 million viewers, #1; adults 18-49: 1.0, #T1) was the most-watched network on Monday thanks to new episodes of 'The Voice' (7.200 million viewers, #1; adults 18-49: 1.2, #1) and 'The Enemy Within' (3.791 million viewers, #9; adults 18-49: 0.6, #T7).
