Country legend and original female outlaw Tanya Tucker returns after 17 years. Tucker's new album, While I'm Livin', is set for release on August 23 via Fantasy Records. Produced by Brandi Carlile and Shooter Jennings, the album marks Tucker's first for the label and her first new material since 2002's Tanya. Beloved British band Temples have announced details of their forthcoming third album,Hot Motion - to be released worldwide on ATO Records on Friday September 27. This marks their debut for the esteemed indie label. The band have also shared a sparkling performance video for the title track “Hot Motion” - a song about “the tensions of desire, dreams and nightmares.'

Due to overwhelming demand, a third and final show has been added on Saturday, October 5 at MGM Grand Garden Arena in Las Vegas, Nevada, featuring the Eagles - Don Henley, Joe Walshand Timothy B. Schmit, with Deacon Frey and Vince Gill -  performing their iconic album 'Hotel California' in its entirety, for the first time in the band's career.  These three concerts are the only North American performances for the Eagles this year. 

As his single “La La Land (feat. YG)” continues to climb the charts, Bryce Vine has announced his major label debut Carnival, set for release July 26 on Sire Records. Carnival will feature “La La Land” and the Platinum-certified hit “Drew Barrymore,” as well as six brand new songs. To celebrate release week, Vine will hit the road for a string of headline dates, including a stop at The Fonda in LA on July 27 and the newly-reopened Webster Hall in New York on August 3. To celebrate the release of Disney's The Lion King, the upcoming groundbreaking feature film helmed by Jon Favreau, The Walt Disney Company has launched a global conservation campaign to raise awareness of the crisis facing lions and other wildlife across Africa. The Lion King “Protect the Pride” campaign focuses on protecting and revitalizing lion populations and the habitats they need to thrive. Disney has already donated more than $1.5 million to the Wildlife Conservation Network's (WCN) Lion Recovery Fund (LRF) and its partners and will make additional grants as well as invite fans to help double the donation for a total contribution of up to $3 million. Fans may participate by taking part in celebratory experiences and purchasing special-edition products, as part of The Lion King Protect the Pride campaign.  

World Environment Day - For their powerful environmental  advocacy and large-scale engagement of their fan base to take action for the planet, the United Nations Environment Programme has designated Dave Matthews Band as a Goodwill Ambassador.  This is the first time a full band has received this recognition.

The Art Directors Guild (ADG, IATSE Local 800) 24th Annual Excellence in Production Design Awards honoring Production Design in theatrical motion pictures, television, commercials, animated features and music videos will return to the InterContinental Los Angeles Downtown in the Wilshire Grand Centre on Saturday, February 1, 2020.  The announcement was made today by ADG President Nelson Coates, Council Chair Mark Worthington and Event Producer Scott Moses.

The International Cinematographers Guild  (ICG, IATSE Local 600) has named 10 honorees for the 2019 Annual Emerging Cinematographer Awards (ECA), spotlighting promising cinematographers and providing crucial exposure needed to succeed in the motion picture industry. The collection of 10 selected short films will be showcased at the ECA premier event in Los Angeles on October 6, 2019, at the Saban Media Center's Wolf Theatre. Additionally, screenings will follow in New York at the SVA Theatre on October 27, 2019, Atlanta at SCADshow on November 3, 2019 and Chicago at the Logan Theatre on November 3, 2019.

Available exclusively on Quibi, both will be reimaginations of the pop culture classics and each will feature 20 new episodes of under 10 minutes in length, offering an optimal viewing experience for those on the go. 'Punk'd' will be produced by STXtelevision in association with MTV Studios. 'Singled Out' will be produced by MTV Studios.

Lorenzo Soria was elected president of the Hollywood Foreign Press Association (HFPA) for the 2019-2020 term which will commence on July 1. The news was announced at the organization's annual election meeting by outgoing president Meher Tatna.
