Luray is thrilled to share “Unwritten”, the latest single from her forthcoming album Dig, the new album from Richmond, VA by way of Wisconsin musician Luray, aka Shannon Carey. Due out July 26th on 6131 Records, Dig was produced by her brother S. On “Unwritten” Carey ruminates on coming to terms with life's uncontrollable and not always pleasant twists and turns over a lush and percussive soundscape of banjo, mbira, and layered vocals. “Unwritten” follows lead singles “Professional Photos” and “Dig”, which was featured in the New York Times Friday playlist column.

In just a few weeks, Lollapalooza Paris and (RED) are once again joining forces to support the AIDS fight. Lollapalooza Paris is taking place July 20th and 21st at the Paris Longchamp Hippodrome and this year, not only will festival-goers have the opportunity to hear performances from the biggest names in music—they will also be able to support the fight to end AIDS via a one-of-a-kind experience: (RED) lounge @ Lolla Paris. (RED) Lounge @ Lolla Paris is an interactive and creative experience giving the opportunity for visitors to support the battle against AIDS via different actions. The festival-goers will be able to join the Silent Disco DANCE (RED), SAVE LIVES, by signing petitions to the attention of leaders and executives, or by buying drinks or limited (RED) products that will help to rise funds for the global fund for combating HIV AIDS, tuberculosis and malaria.

The Coronas, who have been described as “Ireland's best-kept secret,” are set for their only U.S. shows of 2019 on November 13, 14 and 15 at New York's Mercury Lounge. Tickets for this special engagement will go on sale this Friday, June 21.

SHEER MAG return with their sophomore album, A Distant Call. They're still writing about surviving our current hellscape, but this time around, the politics get extra-personal. It's heavy power-pop so sleek it gleams. 'We've been waiting to write these songs since we started the band and we were able to take these experiences and build a story out of them,' notes front woman Tina Halladay. The album verges on being a concept piece, and the protagonist resembles Halladay herself. The songs document a particularly alienating time in her life when she was laid off from a job. Broke and newly single, her father (with whom she had a fraught relationship) passed away, leaving her with more wounds than felt possible to heal. The album's lead single 'Blood From A Stone' which was released today, kicks off the narrative of the album proper. It flashes back to Tina's life from a few years back and sets up the arc for the rest of the record.

Fresh off of its blazing-hot first season, WarnerMedia's truTV announced today the second season order for Tacoma FD, the scripted comedy series from co-creators and stars Kevin Heffernan and Steve Lemme of the Super Troopers movie franchise. Tacoma FD launched as the #1 new cable comedy among young adults when it premiered earlier this year and finishes among cable's top 5 scripted comedies. The 13-episode second season order will go in to pre-production later this year and is slated for release in 2020.
