The win marks 186 consecutive weeks in first place, TODAY's best demo streak in nearly seven years. No other morning news show has been number one in the demo for as long a streak. IFC announced today that the network has partnered with Mad Decent to drop the official soundtrack for its upcoming variety sketch series Sherman's Showcase, premiering Wednesday, July 31st at 10pm ET/PT. Sherman's Showcase (Original Soundtrack), featuring full-length versions of the songs from the series, is set for digital release on August 9 via Mad Decent, the  Los Angeles-based record label founded by Thomas Wesley Pentz, better known as Diplo. The soundtrack will also be available on vinyl later this summer.

Netflix has released the trailer for its new series Wu Assassins, which follows Kai Jin, a young Chinatown chef in present day San Francisco, as he becomes entangled with the Chinese Triad's pursuit of deadly ancient powers known as the 'Wu Xing.' After an encounter with a mystical spirit, Kai reluctantly becomes the Wu Assassin, using his enhanced martial arts skills to recover supernatural powers from five modern day criminals threatening to use them to destroy the world.
