Nickelodeon sets the stage with an all-star celebrity lineup for the network's new music competition show, America's Most Musical Family. Grammy Award-winning global superstar Ciara, who is an executive producer, digital media sensation David Dobrik and singer-songwriter, record producer and actress Debbie Gibson will serve as series judges alongside host Nick Lachey, as 30 talented families compete for a recording contract with Republic Records and a $250,000 cash prize.

AMC Networks announced today from the Television Critics' Association (TCA) Press Tour premiere dates for several new and returning original series, including IFC's Baroness von Sketch Show, which has been picked up for a fifth season, and programming events, including AMC's FearFest and newly expanded Best Christmas Ever holiday celebration, which will air across all of AMC Networks. 

In the ten weeks leading up to the Season 10 premiere of The Walking Dead on Sunday, October 6 at 9pm ET/8pm CT, AMC will be revealing information on the new season each week across TWD social platforms – photos, videos, and never before seen content- kicking off today.

THE CW is debuting the award-winning anthology series TWO SENTENCE HORROR STORIES on Thursday, August 8 with two back-to-back episodes @9 p.m. ET/PT and @9:30 p.m. ET/PT. 

AMC announced today from the Television Critics' Association (TCA) Press Tour two projects in development as part of the AMC Scripted Inclusion Initiative in collaboration with LaToya Morgan which launched the last year. Farmhand, based on the comic from Eisner and Harvey award-winning creator Rob Guillory about a Southern farmer who grows plant-based organ transplants and Of Two Minds, about a woman who must rebuild her life after a brain injury, are both in active development at AMC.  Additional projects will also be developed under this initiative.

This year, onOctober 4-6, Hardly Strictly will celebrate its 19th year with performances by celebrated acoustic duo The Milk Carton Kids, the unique collaboration ofCalexico and Iron & Wine, Ukraine's heralded folk-music group Dakhabrakha, Texas troubadour Hayes Carll, Bay Area golden boy Jackie Greene, cowpunk heroes Meat Puppets, powerhouse soul spirit Bettye LaVette, country-music renaissance woman Margo Price, songwriting legend Steve Earle, and British-Irish folk-rockers The Waterboys. “To me, this lineup reflects our event's legacy while looking ahead to the future,” says Hardly Strictly's talent buyer Chris Porter. “Steve Earle has been celebrating with us since 2002 and artists like Margo Price and Dahkabrahka are making their first Hardly Strictly Bluegrass appearances.” This first round of artists was announced today after Hardly Strictly fans were treated to what the festival calls an “artist medley”—a sneak-peak audio clip of soon to be announced artists—on the festival's social media accounts. The first lineup announce coincides with the 85th birthday of Hardly Strictly Bluegrass founder Warren Hellman who created the festival in 2001 as a gift to the people of San Francisco and the world, celebrating American “roots” music and its many outgrowths.

 The Country Music Association hosted its sixth annual CMA EDU Executive Summit in Nashville July 21-23. Leadership officers of CMA EDU collegiate chapters are invited each year to attend the two-and-a-half-day event, which exposes college students to the Country Music industry through professional development and networking opportunities. 

Disney Junior, the #1 television network for preschoolers, has ordered a third season of the hit Emmy Award-nominated 'Muppet Babies,' ahead of its season two premiere. Steven Pasquale will co-star opposite Kim Cattrall in Fox's new drama Filthy Rich in a recasting, according to Deadline. He succeeds David Denman who played the part in the pilot.

Smithsonian Channel will reveal the exclusive story of the discovery of the “Holy Grail” of missing World War II warships, the USS Eagle 56. The new three-part series, HUNT FOR EAGLE 56, will follow the Nomad Exploration Team – a group of New England wreck divers who made the discovery – as they unearth cryptic clues 200 feet below the ocean's surface off the coast of Maine. The revelation confirms that Eagle 56 is the last U.S. Navy warship sunk by a German submarine off the U.S. East Coast during WWII. HUNT FOR EAGLE 56 will premiere on Smithsonian Channel on Sunday, September 22 at 9 p.m. ET/PT.
