Rising alt-pop trio TWIN XL announces today that they will be joining The Maine on the entirety of their 'The Mirror' Tour hitting 27 major markets nationwide this fall. ABC News' “World News Tonight with David Muir” stood as the No. 1 evening newscast in Total Viewers (8.029 million) and Adults 18-49 (1.032 million), for the week of Aug. 5, 2019, based on Live + Same Day Data from Nielsen Media Research. “World News Tonight” outdelivered “NBC Nightly News” (7.183 million and 1.031, respectively) by 846,000 Total Viewers and by 1,000 Adults 18-49. “World News Tonight” increased its Total Viewer lead year to year by 40% (vs. 606,000 for w/o 8/6/18) and won for the 45th time in the 46 weeks of the season.

Hallmark Channel and PEDIGREE Foundation will team up for a television special to help the millions of shelter and rescue dogs across the country find loving homes. Nineteen-year-old multi-instrumentalist, producer, and songwriter JulienChang recently signed to Transgressive Records (SOPHIE, Let's Eat Grandma, Neon Indian), and shared his debut single “Of The Past,” which earned praise from the likes of Annie Mac at BBC Radio 1, The Guardian, Stereogum, Dazed, DIY and more. Today he announces his remarkable debut album, Jules. A Baltimore native and current university student, Chang(pronounced Chong) surprised his peers when he began quietly self-releasing music during his senior year of high school two years ago. 'The record was brought to life by uncertainty and experimentation, just like most everything else in life is during the summer before senior year,” Chang explains. “Even in the last weeks of recording, I was unsure of what kind of album it would turn out to be, but I think that was the point of making it—to follow inspirations indiscriminately and to whatever extent I felt.' The self-produced, self-recorded and almost entirely self-performed debut album shows Chang's fusing infectious pop melodies and experimental psych-rock with progressive jazz improvisation and sophisticated classical construction, all while spanning multiple instruments.  Comedy Central today ordered a new unscripted, interview-based series from Phoebe Robinson, the multi-talented stand-up comedian, New York Times best-selling writer and actress. In this half-hour, 10-episode untitled series, Robinson will create experiences with her guests that take us into their world and out of her comfort zone. This is Robinson's first project from her recently formed production company, Tiny Reparations.

HGTV's hit series Flip or Flop, starring divorced couple Christina Anstead and Tarek El Moussa, delivered another strong ratings performance during its second outing on Thursday, Aug. 8, at 9 p.m. ET/PT. The episode delivered a 1.03 live plus three-day rating among P25-54 - a 49% increase in the demo for the 9-9:30 p.m. timeslot over the prior six weeks. Attracting more than 3.5 million total viewers, the episode also garnered a 1.37 live plus three-day rating among W25-54, a 54% increase in the demo for the timeslot over the prior six weeks. It ranked as the #2 cable program in the timeslot among both P25-54 and W25-54 as well as among upscale P25-54 and upscale W25-54. In addition, Flip or Flop continued to draw a solid millennial audience, ranking as the #3 cable program in the timeslot among P25-34.

Drama League Award winner Alfred Molina ('Red') guest stars on this Friday's new episode of Disney Junior's hit animated series 'Vampirina.' He voices the role of Sir Ghoulgood, a friendly ghost who resides in the local theater.
