This special new 2LP edition also honors the indelible legacy of Boyz N The Hood director and soundtrack executive producer John Singleton, who sadly passed away in April 2019 at age 51.

The NFL Films documentary “A Lifetime of Sundays,” which profiles the matriarchs of four American football families, will make its television debut on ESPN, Sunday, Aug. 25 (1:00-2:30 p.m. EDT), and a week later on ABC, SUNDAY, SEPT. 1 (3:30-5:00 p.m. EDT). The film also will be available through ESPN authenticated Video on Demand until Sept. 15 when it moves to ESPN+ and will be available for streaming.

The Disney+ original series “Love, Simon” begins production this month in Los Angeles with up-and-coming actor Michael Cimino (“Annabelle Comes Home,” “Training Day”) in the lead role of Victor. Today, BET Networks announced the production of a new original movie 'SACRIFICE' starring Paula Patton ('Hitch,' 'Precious'). 'SACRIFICE' takes place in Los Angeles following Daniella Hernandez, played by Patton, a highly sought after entertainment lawyer. The legal thriller tracks Daniella as she navigates the nefarious lives of her rich and famous clients. Daniella has a reputation that proves problematic to LA Law enforcement, forcing her to be at odds with her sorority sister turned nemesis District Attorney Beverly Rucker. In an attempt to protect her often unscrupulous clients, Daniella enlists the services of her resourceful assistant and a young ex-hacker and tech genius. 'SACRIFICE' is executive produced, written, and directed by Chris Stokes. Marques Houston also serves as the film's co-executive producer for Footage Films. Principal photography for 'SACRIFICE' took place in New Orleans. 'SACRIFICE' will premiere on BET's new streaming service BET+ in 2020.

FOX has released the first trailer for season three of its hit drama 9-1-1. Creators Ryan Murphy, Brad Falchuk and Tim Minear reimagine the procedural drama with 9-1-1, exploring the high-pressure experiences of police officers, firefighters and dispatchers who are thrust into the most frightening, shocking and heart-stopping situations. These emergency responders must try to balance saving those who are at their most vulnerable with solving the problems in their own lives.
