The Country Music Association's acclaimed CMA Songwriters Series Presented by   U.S. Bank has announced a performance in Portland, OR at Aladdin Theater Sunday, Dec. 8 featuring top tunesmiths Marcus Hummon, Lori McKenna, Lee Thomas Miller and Tenille Townes. The series hosts an intimate round of performances with some of Country Music's hottest songwriters taking turns sharing the stories behind their hit songs and performing them as originally written. Andrew Garfield will star in the Netflix film adaptation of in tick, tick…Boom!, according to Deadline. Lin-Manuel Miranda will make his feature directorial debut on this adaptation of the autobiographical off-Broadway show written by  the late Jonathan Larson.

dick clark productions and ABC today announced that global superstar Taylor Swift will be honored with the coveted Artist of the Decade award at the a?oe2019 American Music Awardsa?? and will deliver an unprecedented performance celebrating the biggest hits of her career. Swift, who has won more American Music Awards than any other artist this decade, is also a five-time nominee this year. She also holds the record for most American Music Awards wins of any female artist ever, with 23. The a?oe2019 American Music Awardsa?? will broadcast live from the Microsoft Theater in Los Angeles on Sunday, Nov. 24 at 8:00 p.m. EST, on ABC. 

Today, New York City's Charly Bliss have announced and released their new EP, Supermoon. The EP is a collection of songs written during the sessions for their 2019 critically acclaimed sophomore LP, Young Enough. Matt Wilkinson debuted the title-track this morning on Beats1 and Rolling Stone premiered the rest of the EP and profiled the band, calling it 'an epilogue of sorts to Young Enough.'

Pinegrove have revealed plans for their new album, Marigold, to be released on Rough Trade Records on January 17th, 2020. The announcement comes with a video for the second track to be released from the album, “Phase”, directed by Colin Read. The band quietly released the album's first single, “Moment”, in August and Marigold has been eagerly awaited by the band's dedicated and rapidly expanding fanbase for months. Details of its release come just days after Pinegrove wrapped a coast-to-coast tour of North America - performing to sold out theaters in front of their largest audiences to date.
