Darkroom/Interscope Records artist Billie Eilish, accompanied by her brother and chief collaborator FINNEAS, performed an intimate acoustic set for a room of excited fans and friends in The Blue Room at Nashville's Third Man Records last night. The set was recorded live on Third Man's direct-to-acetate system, and the vinyl version will be available in December only at Third Man retail locations in Nashville and Detroit. There will be a limited edition black & blue version for attendees only, featuring one-of-a-kind artwork created by Billie Eilish during her evening spent at Third Man headquarters.

As chart-topping multi-instrumentalist, songwriter and producer Brian Culbertson crafts his 20th album, the aptly titled “XX” – Roman numerals representing twenty – he revealed plans for the extensive US concert tour that will support the record release. Beginning April 1 in Louisville, Kentucky, Culbertson will take an elaborately designed concert production, The XX Tour, on the road for three consecutive months, playing more than 70 shows, an extremely rare feat for a contemporary jazz artist.

Celebrating the rapid expansion of new program content, The National Association of Television Program Executives (NATPE) today announced that it will bring back the iconic IRIS Awards. The first honorees are Lionsgate's Debmar-Mercury co-presidents Mort Marcus and Ira Bernstein receiving the Career Achievement Award; and Perry Sook, receiving the Lew Klein Leadership Award; and the weekly syndicated political show “Matter of Fact with Soledad O'Brien” receiving the Iris Award of Excellence.  All of the honorees will be on hand to accept their awards.  The presentation will take place during the annual Station Group Summit at NATPE Miami on January 22.

Chamber-pop singer/songwriter Taali has released “Wayward Star”. The delicate Fender Rhodes-led tune is a placid refrain about what it's like to be truly yourself with someone, and let down your guard, “specifically, to be with someone who had been through as much as me was a new challenge, and also a new beauty,” Taali says behind the inspiration.  Fox Searchlight Pictures announced today that principal photography on THE EYES OF TAMMY FAYE is underway in Charlotte, North Carolina. The film is written by Abe Sylvia (Dead to Me, DIRTY GIRL) and directed by Michael Showalter (THE BIG SICK; HELLO, MY NAME IS DORIS), and stars Jessica Chastain (MOLLY'S GAME, ZERO DARK THIRTY) and Andrew Garfield (HACKSAW RIDGE, SILENCE). The film is based on Fenton Bailey and Randy Barbato's acclaimed 2000 documentary of the same name chronicling the dynamic ascent and subsequent demise and redemption of televangelists Jim and Tammy Faye Bakker as described by Tammy Faye herself.

Hughley, How Not to Get Shot and Other Advice from White People, based on Hughley's New York Times bestselling book of the same name. Hughley will executive produce and star in the project, which will follow him into the field to explore the state of race in America.
