New York City-based band Imagainary People have announced the release of their third full-length album Alibi due July 12. Today the band shared 'Hometown' the first single to be lifted from the album with PopMatters and the song will be on all streaming platforms this Thursday. The song condems the homogeny of the modern world, the capitalist system that dictates that, and the death of culture and personality that entails. PopMatters says, 'Landing somewhere between '80s stadium rock (The Alarm, War-era U2) and latter day saints such as the War on Drugs, the track feels like sweeping emotional victory while tackling one of the truths of life in our time: Home ain't what it used to be.' Imaginary People's frontman Dylan Von Wagner explains, 'It's about what happens when your town is replaced with something that seems to sway on the benign and it kind of leaves you with this dread. It's all spread out in this cookie cutter mold, and the town doesn't have its own personality – just another brush stroke on the bland canvas of suburbia.”

Franc Moody have today unveiled 'Skin on Skin', the lead single from their upcoming debut album Dream in Colour which is available for pre-save, pre-add and pre-order now. Dream In Colour will be released on February 28th. The unique London band launched their first long-form project with the disco anthem 'Terra Firma', having ended 2019 with a sold-out run of US dates and also confirmed an impressive European spring tour.

Disney Music has shared a video from the most recent Star Wars film, The Rise of Skywalker, which features a song that Lin-Manuel Miranda wrote for the film. The clip shows the the Aki Aki's of the planet Pasaana singing Miranda's song a?oeLido Heya?? for the celebration scene in the film.

Jordana (Jordana Nye) is announcing the re-release of her 2019 album, Classical Notions Of Happiness, on Grand Jury Music, coming March 27th. Today the Wichita, KS based-artist has shared the bedroom-pop ode to weird dates dictated by astrological inconsistencies, “Signs”, alongside the throwback video that opens with the driving bass line that runs throughout the track and Jordana herself in a parking lot hitting the woah. “Signs”, like all of Jordana's songs, has a stark honesty and vulnerability to it. Disguising her incisive songwriting behind quotidian experiences Jordana is able to create moving vignettes about bad dates, intrusive thoughts and falling in love, with ease. Speaking to the new track Jordana says;

Facebook Watch, Facebook's video destination, has signed a three year deal for “Red Table Talk” with Jada Pinkett Smith and Westbrook Studios. The pact will keep the hit Daytime Emmy-nominated series exclusively on the platform with new episodes streaming through 2022 featuring host and Executive Producer Jada Pinkett Smith, her daughter Willow Smith and mother Adrienne Banfield Norris, also known as “Gammy.”

Today Ellis - Hamilton, Ontario's Linnea Siggelkow - announces her breathtaking debut album, Born Again. Produced by Jake Aron (Snail Mail, Solange, Grizzly Bear) and recorded partly at Aron's Brooklyn studio, Born Again arrives as the follow-up to Ellis's debut EP The Fuzz—a self-released, self-produced effort that promptly led to a deal with Fat Possum Records. The Lumineers announce the addition of more dates to the epic arena tour celebrating their landmark album, III, including Coors Field the band's first stadium headlining in their hometown Denver on August 29. A wide array of artists will be supporting The Lumineers including Shakey Graves, Jade Bird, Gregory Alan Isakov, and Daniel Rodriguez. (Mt. Joy is the opener for the first leg of dates).

Hinder drummer Cody Hanson and frontman Marshal Dutton recently announced a new project called Dangerous Hippies. The band unveil their new video 'Like A Ghost' today. Dutton talks about the song: “Like a Ghost is a story about being out-shined and loving it!” Hanson adds: “Like a Ghost is completely different than our first release. It's been an absolute blast to not be bound by any rules and to be able to create a totally different vibe from song to song. We're just getting started and we can't wait to share more!”

Festival Music Director Alasdair Neale and Executive Director Derek Dean today announced the summer programming for the 36th annual Sun Valley Music Festival, which takes place from July 27 to August 19 in the scenic, Rocky Mountain resort city of Sun Valley, Idaho. Since 1985, the Festival has brought together world-class musicians from distinguished orchestras across North America to perform three weeks of free chamber and orchestral concerts each summer. This season's lineup includes a special Beethoven @ 250 series; concerts featuring guest artists Leila Josefowicz, Daniil Trifonov, Orion Weiss, and string trio Time for Three; anda?"performed by the lattera?"a triple concerto by Kevin Puts, a Festival co-commission with the Florida Orchestra, Philadelphia Orchestra, and San Francisco Symphony. All Festival performances take place at the state-of-the-art Sun Valley Pavilion amphitheater at 6:30 p.m., except where specified otherwise.
