Cecily Strong is set to star in a musical comedy product from Lorne Michaels' Broadway Video, Despicable Me duo Cinco Paul and Ken Daurio, and Universal TV, according to Deadline. Apple is in final negotiations for the series.

Atlanta based Grammy nominated songwriter/artist/musician/producer CHILDISH MAJOR is kicking off the new year with a new song and visual for his latest track “Dem Know” which features dancehall/rap recording artist, BEAM and was both produced and engineered by Childish himself. The two most recently collaborated on “Stranded” (included on BEAM's latest EP, 95). He's also officially announced that he'll be joining YBN Cordae for the European leg of The Lost Boy Tour beginning with the March 8th date in Glasgow, UK before wrapping on April 5th in Dublin, Ireland. Psychedelic post-hardcore group CIRCA SURVIVE will be reissuing their major label debut Blue Sky Noise on vinyl via Hopeless Records on March 20th. The album had a big debut landing on numerous Billboard charts including #1 Billboard 200, #1 Tastemakers, #3 Top Rock Albums, #11 Top Current Albums, #11 Top Album Sales, and #17 Vinyl Albums. The band will be celebrating the 10th anniversary by hitting the road with Polyphia and Gouge Away in tow on their Blue Sky Noise 10 Year Anniversary Tour that will kickoff on release day.

 Beach Road Weekend is back! The three-day music festival will return to Veterans Memorial Park in Vineyard Haven July 24th - 26th. Beach Road Weekend launched in 2019 with three days of music headlined by John Fogerty, Phil Lesh and Friends, Grace Potter and Dispatch. Now the festival is back with a full day of music added to Friday's schedule and special hotel packages for fans heading to the island for the entire weekend.

Indie heroes Embrace have announced their first three albums will be reissued on vinyl for the first time since their original release. The titles—The Good Will Out, Drawn From Memory and If You've Never Been—are available through UMC on March 6th for the UK, with the latter two being released through Craft Recordings on March 20th for North America. The vinyl format of these have been long out-of-print since their original release, making them in-demand for collectors and fans alike.

Production has commenced in Boston on “Godmothered,” an original live-action movie for Disney+ starring Isla Fisher (“Confessions of a Shopaholic,” “Wedding Crashers”) and Jillian Bell (“Brittany Runs a Marathon,” “Rough Night”), directed by Sharon Maguire (“Bridget Jones's Diary,” “Bridget Jones's Baby”). Viacom International Studios (VIS) and Diagonal TV, Endemol Shine Iberia's fiction production company, have announced today that they will work together on the development of La Novia Gitana, a scripted TV series based on the bestseller by Carmen Mola.
