ABC News' “World News Tonight with David Muir” stood as the evening's No. 1 newscast in all key targets: Total Viewers (9.135 million), Adults 25-54 (1.819 million) and Adults 18-49 (1.234 million) for the week of March 2, 2020, based on Live + Same Day Data from Nielsen Media Research. “World News Tonight” outdelivered “NBC Nightly News” (8.044 million, 1.753 million and 1.216 million, respectively) by 1.091 million Total Viewers, 66,000 Adults 25-54 and 18,000 Adults 18-49.  

Part 1 of a live 2-night season finale event of “The Bachelor” built over the prior week's “Women Tell All” by double digits in Total Viewers (+19% - 7.6 million vs. 6.4 million) and Adults 18-49 (+17% - 2.1/10 vs. 1.8/9) to mark new season highs in both Nielsen measures. 

With its 3-hour drama lineup, ABC dominated Thursday among Adults 18-49, widening its lead over runner-up CBS to 7-tenths of a rating point in the L+3 numbers (1.6/9 vs. 0.9/5) compared to a 3-tenths advantage in L+SD. In fact, ABC won Thursday for the 7th straight week among Adults 18-49. In addition, ABC emerged as the night's No. 1 network in Total Viewers in L+3 (7.6 million), leapfrogging over CBS (7.5 million). ABC claimed the Top 2 highest-rated programs of the night in Adults 18-49 with “Grey's Anatomy” and “Station 19,” respectively.

ABC News' “20/20” stood as Friday's No. 1 newsmagazine, outdelivering NBC's “Dateline” by double digits in all key target demos: Total Viewers (+13% – 4.3 million vs. 3.8 million), Adults 18-49 (+17% - 0.7/4 vs. 0.6/3) and Adults 25-54 (+11% - 1.0/5 vs. 0.9/4).  In fact, “20/20” ranked as Friday's No. 1 telecast overall in Adults 25-54.

During the week of March 2, 2020, ABC's “Jimmy Kimmel Live!” grew over the prior week by 3% in Total Viewers (1.778 million vs. 1.733 million) and by 6% among Adults 18-49 (416,000 vs. 391,000) to hit 5-week highs—since the week of 1/27/20.

Legendary post-punk band MODERN ENGLISH have just announced their upcoming North American summer headline tour. Celebrating its 40th anniversary and performing its breakthrough 1982 album, After the Snow, in its entirely, the tour will kick off on Friday, June 12 in San Diego, CA and extend through Saturday, July 11. The tour will visit additional markets such as Los Angeles, CA on June 14, Vancouver, BC on June 20, Denver, CO on June 23, New York, NY on July 2, Atlanta, GA on July 8, and culminate with a performance at Respectable Street in West Palm Beach, FL on July 11. Visionary art pop musician Angel Deradoorian has signed to ANTI- Records and announced her first album with the label. Titled Find The Sun, the celestial ten-track record will be released on May 22. Inspired by the freedom of Can and the singing style of Damo Suzuki as well as the influence of Indian spirituality on free jazz masters like Pharoah Sanders and Sun Ra,  Deradoorian gravitates to transportive, shamanic sounds on this record, wielding bells, flutes, and gongs in service of a rock record guided by the spirits. Australian punk rockers Amyl and The Sniffers will release Live At The Croxton, a 7-inch capturing dynamic live versions of three of their most beloved tracks, on May 1. GRAMMY®, ACM and CMA Award-winning  band Shenandoah has announced the first round of shows for its 'Every Road' 2020 tour. The national road show kicked off last week in Nashville, Tennessee with a special intimate show at the Country Music Hall of Fame® and Museum.

AMC today announced that it has greenlit “Pantheon,” an ambitious one-hour animated drama based on a series of short stories by Ken Liu about Uploaded Intelligence, or, human consciousness uploaded to the 'cloud.' Craig Silverstein (“Turn,” “Nikita,” “Terra Nova”) will serve as the series writer/creator and showrunner, Ken Liu will serve as a consulting producer and the independent Emmy-award winning animation production company, Titmouse is also attached. Produced by AMC Studios, AMC has placed an initial order for two seasons of the speculative fiction series, consisting of eight one-hour episodes each.

HBO Max announced today an 8-episode series order for WAHL STREET, a new premium documentary series that offers fans a glimpse into global star Mark Wahlberg's life as he juggles the demands of a rigorous film schedule coupled with an ever-growing network of diverse businesses. Along the way, viewers will learn about his successes and failures and glean powerful business and life lessons while also getting to know the cast of colorful characters that make up Wahlberg's real-life entourage. The series began production in December.
