Fashion Club has shared her first new single in two years, “Rotten Mind,” the haunting, string-laden electro-acoustic number featuring wispy backing vocals from Julie Byrne. The track is a pointed rebuke aimed at those who oppress and control people under the guise of helping them, often with a lens of patronizing paternalism and concerning issues such as bodily autonomy, racial injustice, class inequality and trans rights. Buffalo, NY based Super American have announced a headlining fall tour presented by Emo Night Brooklyn, with support from Sydney Sprague and Summerbruise. Dates will kick off on August 1 in Toronto at Hard Luck, wrapping up on September 22 in Columbus, OH at Ace of Cups with shows in New York City, Los Angeles, Nashville, Chicago, Boston and more along the way.

The HISTORY Channel commemorates the 80th anniversary of the D-Day landings along the Normandy coast during World War II with new two-part documentary series, “D-Day: The Unheard Tapes” premiering Thursday, June 6 at 8pm ET/PT with back-to-back episodes. A co-production with BBC Factual, the series relives the Allied invasion of Nazi-occupied Normandy through the voices and words of those who were there, from all sides. 

Los Angeles-based band Swerve has shared their new single, a cover of The Stone Roses' iconic track “I Wanna Be Adored.” The band's reworked version of the classic song debuted at Glide Magazine and is now available on all digital platforms for playlist shares. “I Wanna Be Adored” is featured on Swerve’s anticipated EP The Darkroom, set to be released on June 21 (pre-order). Broadway Records is set to release a new deluxe version of the hit album In Pieces: A New Musical (Highlights) featuring music by Joey Contreras and including 8 original songs not included on the 2021 release. According to reports, Paul Bettany will be reprising his role as Vision in a currently untitled Marvel series from Terry Matalas. The new series will be helmed by Matalas, who recently was the showrunner for Star Trek: Picard with Patrick Stewart. This show marks the first new Marvel series in the works for two years, following a restructuring in the television output of the company. It is set to release in 2026.

The Beach Boys will be joined by a special guest performer John Stamos on select dates of their tour this summer. Stamos will perform with the band from May 30 to June 20, July 5 to July 7 and August 30 to Sept. 1 at venues across the country. John Stamos has had a longstanding relationship with The Beach Boys dating back to July 4, 1985 when he played his first official show with the iconic band.

Bay Area singer and songwriter Taylor Vick – formerly known under the moniker Boy Scouts – is releasing her first song under her own name. Titled “Place That I Believe From”, listen to the tender track below. “I wrote 'Place That I Believe From' about my attempt to locate the unlocatable — the ineffable and elusive ‘place’ inside of me where my beliefs are born from and exist within,” Vick describes.
