At its inaugural upfront presentation, Prime Video announced that it has ordered the Legally Blonde prequel series Elle from Reese Witherspoon’s Hello Sunshine, a part of Candle Media.  Creator Laura Kittrell is set as showrunner and executive producer, with Reese Witherspoon, Lauren Neustadter, Lauren Kisilevsky, and Marc Platt also serving as executive producers. Elle follows Elle Woods in high school as we learn about the life experiences that shaped her into the iconic young woman we came to know and love in the first Legally Blonde film.

Pop Culture Jeopardy! is a brand-new twist on the classic quiz show’s “answer-and-question” format that combines the academic rigor of Jeopardy! with the excitement and unpredictability of pop culture. Contestants, playing in teams of three, will need to be experts in categories from Alternative Rock to The Avengers; Broadway to MMA; Gen Z to Zendaya as they compete in a tournament-style event for the grand prize and ultimate bragging rights.

In honor of the 40th anniversary of its theatrical release, Purple Rain, the iconic 1984 film starring Prince in his film acting debut, will be available for purchase on 4K Ultra HD Disc and Digital for the first time on June 25. Purple Rain stars music icon Prince in his first film role as The Kid, alongside Apollonia Kotero, Morris Day, Olga Karlatos and Clarence Williams III.

Republic Pictures has just dropped the trailer for Reunion, the upcoming comedy starring Billy Magnussen. Lil Rel Howery, Billy Magnussen, and Jillian Bell star in a wild ride of twists and turns where a high school reunion gets cut short by murder. Singer-songwriter, poet, activist and multi-instrumentalist Allison Russell has announced her All Returners fall 2024 U.S. headlining Tour. The dates will kick off in Burlington, VT on October 25th with highlights including Webster Hall in New York, NY on October 28th, 930 Club in Washington D.C. on Halloween, The Vic Theater in Chicago, IL on November 2nd and The Fillmore in San Francisco, CA on November 11th.

HBO has released the official trailer for the second season of the original drama series HOUSE OF THE DRAGON, debuting SUNDAY, JUNE 16 (9:00-10:00 p.m. ET/PT) on HBO and available to stream on Max.  Based on George R.R.
