Peacock has just dropped the release date and first look photos for Season 3 of Bell-Air. The Peacock show will be returning with Season 3 on August 15 with three new episodes at launch. Set in modern-day Los Angeles, Peacock’s drama series Bel-Air imagines the beloved sitcom The Fresh Prince of Bel-Air through a new, dramatic take on Will’s complicated journey from the streets of West Philadelphia to the gated mansions of Bel-Air. Cartoon Network and Max have announced the all-Nigerian cast for “Iyanu,” the epic superhero animated-series steeped in Nigerian culture and mythology. Leading the voice cast is Serah Johnson as Iyanu, a teenage heroine who must uncover the mystery behind her newfound powers to save her people from an ancient curse threatening to destroy humanity.

Tony-nominated actor David Morse will be appearing in a regular role in the upcoming Prime series We Were Liars, based on the best-selling book by E. Lockhart. Morse joins Mamie Gummer, Caitlin FitzGerald, and Candice King in a series that is 'a tragic love story and an amnesia thriller set on a privately owned island off the coast of Massachusetts.” In the show, Morse will play the character of Harris Sinclair.

Actor Andy Nyman took to social media on Monday to reveal that he will be playing the role of Governor Thropp in the upcoming Wicked movie. In the musical, Thropp is the 'father' of Elphaba and Nessarose and the governor of Munchkinland. He appears in the opening number 'No One Mourns the Wicked,' which serves as a flashback of Elphaba's birth.
