What did our critic think of CABARET at Guthrie Theater?

If a show based around love, obsession, and a spiraling descent into madness seems like an alluring night at the theater, look no further than Theater Latté Da’s newest production of the rarely mounted Sondheim-Lapin collaboration, Passion.

What did our critic think of THE SNOWY DAY at MN Opera?

In Milo Cramer’s searing one man show, School Pictures, he carefully and masterfully brings to life the stories of students that he had the pleasure of tutoring for many years in New York City. Told through a series of songs, accompanied by a variety of instruments all played by Cramer, he details his experiences while tutoring ten different students.

It may be the dead of winter in Minnesota but that is not stopping the Guthrie Theater from taking audiences to the moonlight filled forests of Athens in the middle of summer. Yes, William Shakespeare’s A Midsummer Night’s Dream is back on the Guthrie stage and this ravishing production proves why it remains one of the most cherished of the Bard’s works.
