SPIDER-MAN Still In Search of An Ending...And Possibly a Set Opening DateJanuary 13, 2011Michael Colh, lead producer on Spider-Man: Turn Off The Dark has revealed to the Wall Street Journal that the final version of the show's finale has yet to be incorporated into the show and has not yet been seen by anyone - himself included. Cohl tells the Journal: 'The actual ending that we have planned is still not in the show,' he said. 'Nobody's seen it - including us, by the way.' When asked if the show's February 7 opening date was still set, Cohl vaguely replied: 'It's life-I don't expect it to [change], but it's life.'

In celebration of her life, Michael Gregg Michaud composed the following tribute to the late star. Rogan tells MTV News: 'I heard that rumor, but I can't sing at all...I would be the worst guy to put in that movie. I saw 'Rock of Ages.' It was pretty good. I liked the music. But I can't sing. I think people should be aware of that...Yeah, I know nothing about any real version of that.'

Clooney's FARRAGUT NORTH Adaptation Begins Filming in Feb.January 12, 2011George Clooney's upcoming film adaptation of the off-Broadway play Farragut North, entitled Ides of March, starring Philip Seymour Hoffman, Paul Giamatti, Ryan Gosling, Marisa Tomei and Evan Rachel Wood will begin filming next month. Clooney revealed his intentions to direct a film version of the play over three years ago. No release date has been announced.
Schwartz to Team with Rahman on Dreamworks Animated MusicalJanuary 12, 2011Variety reports this morning that Wicked's Stephen Schwartz has teamed up with Slumdog Millionaire and 127 Hours composer A.R. Rahman on a new animated musical film for Dreamworks Animation entitled, Monkeys of Bollywood. Husband and wife Gurinder Chadha and Paul Berges are producing. The project, if fast tracked, will be the first musical animated feature under the Dreamworks banner.
New York Observer Reviews SPIDER-MANJanuary 12, 2011Back at Christmas, Newsday and Bloomberg were the first publications to release reviews of Spider-Man: Turn Off The Dark, despite the fact that the show is not set to open until next month. But, in the words of Newsday critic Linda Winer: 'After four premiere push-backs (now to Feb. 7), four high-profile injuries, 19 previews at full price ($75-$150, almost double through brokers), and public investigations by state and federal safety agencies, it seems that critics are now the only interested parties who can't see the bride before the wedding.' Both the Newsday and Bloomberg reviews were lukewarm, with Bloomberg critic Jeremy Gerard noting: On the evidence of what I saw, the second act still has yet to be completed. We might expect more of a show that has been in the works for almost nine years.'
