Due to the overwhelming response of the movie theater audience of the sold-out production, now more fans have the opportunity to see this once in a lifetime revival of classic musical theater. COMPANY will receive a special screening at the famous Ziegfeld Theatre this Sunday, June 26th. In honor of this special event, Screenvision will host a Q & A session with COMPANY's award-winning director, Lonny Price, for all attendees immediately following the on-screen presentation.

Quidam had its world premiere in Montreal under the Big Top in April 1996. Since that time, the production has toured on five continents and been experienced by millions of people. In December 2010, Quidam embarked on a new journey, performing the same captivating production, but now in arenas throughout North America and Canada.The international cast features 52 world-class acrobats, musicians, singers and characters. As previously reported, President Barack Obama has chosen SISTER ACT for his first Broadway fundraiser of his re-elction campaign. The event, which will be held today, will be hosted by SISTER ACT producer Whoopi Goldberg. Tickets for the special performance range from $250 to $10,000 (the latter of which includes a photo shoot with the President). Also while in town, Obama will host a second fundraiser with the gay community. Justin Bieber will also be in town for promotional appearances, further adding to the expected traffic gridlock in midtown today.

Producers Julian Schlossberg and Letty Aronson have announced that Caroline Aaron, Bill Army, Lisa Emery, Ari Graynor, Steve Guttenberg, Danny Hoch, Julie Kavner, Fred Melamed, Grant Shaud and Marlo Thomas will star in the ensemble cast of the world premiere production of RELATIVELY SPEAKING, three one-act comedies by the prolific writing trio of Ethan Coen, Elaine May and Woody Allen, and directed by John Turturro.

The MUNY's production of Legally Blonde The Musical opened June 20 and runs through June 26. Marc Bruni and Rusty Mowery are recreating the original Broadway direction and choreography by Jerry Mitchell. Lauren Ashley Zakrin stars as Elle Woods, with Matthew Hydzik starring as as Warner Huntington III, Sara Sheperd as Vivienne Kensington, D. B. Bonds as Emmett Forrest, Ken Land as Professor Callahan, Lisa Howard as Paulette, Tiffany Engen as Serena, Taylor Louderman as Margot, K. B. Hart as Pilar, and Nikki Snelson as Brooke Wyndham. Producers Whoopi Goldberg and Stage Entertainment have announced full details and casting for the first ever UK & Ireland tour of the hit musical comedy SISTER ACT, which will open at the Manchester Opera House on Thursday 29 September with a Gala night for Press on Tuesday 4 October.

More than 20 world class shows took to the stage in Trafalgar Square this past weekend for the seventh West End LIVE. The annual free entertainment festival wass presented by Westminster City Council in partnership with the Society of London Theatre. Everybody's been talking about the animatronic pig which cost a reported £100,000 for Cameron Mackintosh's new musical comedy BETTY BLUE EYES, based on the Handmade Film 'A PRIVATE FUNCTION' by Alan Bennett and Malcolm Mowbray. BETTY BLUE EYES is the first original musical Cameron Mackintosh has produced in ten years. It started previews at the Novello Theatre in the West End on 19 March and opened on 13 April. American Conservatory Theater (A.C.T.) adds an additional week of performances to its world premiere production of Armistead Maupin's Tales of the City, which continues to break sales records. The world premiere musical amassed the largest advance sale in A.C.T.'s history prior to its first preview performance on May 18 and continues to break sales records throughout its sold-out run. Armistead Maupin's Tales of the City will now run through July 31, 2011, at the American Conservatory Theater (415 Geary Street, San Francisco). The added performances are July 26-31, 2011: 8 p.m. performances Tuesday through Sunday and 2 p.m. matinees on July 30 and 31.

As previously reported, The Kennedy Center's all-new, critically-acclaimed production of James Goldman and Stephen Sondheim's Tony Award-winning musical FOLLIES will transfer to Broadway this summer. FOLLIES will play a limited engagement at the Marquis Theatre, with dates to be announced shortly. Rehearsals, it has just been revealed, will begin on August 7, 2011. While an official casting announcement is forthcoming, including a detail of those who will be transferring with the production, a casting notice out today indicates that the roles of Salange La Fitte (played in the Kennedy Center by Régine), Hattie Walker (Linda Lavin), and Theodore Whitman (Terrence Currier) are open. Linda Lavin's departure was reported last week upon the announcement that she would simultaneously be starring in THE LYONS at the Vineyard Theatre.

In the midst of finishing up Footloose and filming Rock of Ages in Miami, Julianne Hough found some time to support the American Humane Association at the VA Medical Center in Manhattan, giving a concert for patients with therapy dogs. While on hand, Hough helped launch the American Humane Association's voting campaign for the inaugural 'Hero Dog Awards.' CESAR Canine Cuisine will be making donations to the American Humane Association for each vote cast for a favorite dog hero at www.HeroDogAwards.org, helping to promote the use of therapy dogs to those in need. Hough spoke with Entertainment Tonight about the project, making sure to also reiterate how much fun the cast and crew are having in Miami on the ROCK OF AGES set.

Oscar, Golden Globe and Emmy-winning actress Dame Helen Mirren hosted Opening Night at the Hollywood Bowl, kicking off the Bowl's 90th season and featuring the 12th annual Hollywood Bowl Hall of Fame ceremony, Friday, June 17, at 8:30 p.m. The evening offered the induction of Grammy and Emmy-winning singer/musician/actor Harry Connick, Jr., and seven-time Grammy-winning pop music superstar Gloria Estefan into the Hall of Fame. Additional evening highlights included an exclusive sneak preview of Cirque du Soleil's first resident production in Los Angeles, IRIS - A Journey Through the World of Cinema, two-time Academy Award-winning actress Hilary Swank presenting the Hall of Fame award to Connick Jr., and a performance by the Hollywood Bowl Orchestra led by Principal Guest Conductor Thomas Wilkins.

Stage favorite Megan Hilty recently filmed a guest spot on ABC Family's Melissa & Joey, starring Melissa Joan Hart and Joey Lawrence. Photos from the episode, 'Enemies with Benefits,' have been released and appear below! The episode will air on June 29, 2011. A second episode with Hilty has also been filmed with an airdate pending.
