The production will play through its 100th performance on November 29. Initially, booking had been open through February 2010.
Goldberg, Wallach, Meara & More Pay Tribute to Mary Travers, 11/9November 3, 2009Mary Travers, best known as one third of the legendary musical trio Peter, Paul & Mary, died in September at the age of 72 from complications from chemotherapy that she had been receiving to treat leukemia. According to a report in the New York Times, theater vets Whoopi Goldberg, Anne Meara, and Eli Wallach will take part in a public memorial for the singer on Monday, November 9 at Riverside Church at 7pm. Primarily for invited guests only, tickets will be available to the general public on November 9 on a first-come, first-served basis.
