Jessica Lewis Jessica has worked in theater for nearly ten years. She has worked in theatrical production for the producers of STOMP, DAMN YANKEES, NUNSENSE, DINNER WITH FRIENDS and more, and for over 5 years has been involved in the Whoopi Goldberg-produced White Noise, having discovered the production at the 2006 New York Musical Theatre Festival. She has since helped foster its growth through multiple large-scale workshops and two major commercial productions as an Associate Producer. After dedicating many years to theatrical and live entertainment production work that has taken her all over the world in 2009 she assumed the post of Senior Managing Editor at BroadwayWorld.com, the largest theater site on the net, for which she controls operations, routinely interviews Broadway's A-list talent and films/edits a bulk of the sites popular BWW TV content. She is a graduate of Brown University and has worked professionally in production for the Brown University Department of Theatre, Speech and Dance, Rights and Reasons Theatre, the New York Theatre Workshop and more.




Liv Ullman to Talk STREETCAR at Paley Center, 12/14

Liv Ullmann, living legend of cinema and theater, has just directed a production of A Streetcar Named Desire that stars Cate Blanchett and opens at the Brooklyn Academy of Music in November. While Ullmann was preparing that production, a documentary, The Sealed Orders of Liv Ullmann, captured her mentoring young actors through scenes from this same Tennessee Williams play. The Paley Center will premiere this film by four-time Academy Award nominees Kirk Simon and Karen Goodman, on December 14 at 6:30pm at The Paley Center for Media.

Sundance Institute announced today the lineup of films selected to screen in the U.S. and World Cinema Dramatic and Documentary Competitions for the 2010 Sundance Film Festival. Matt Weaver & Scott Prisand, two of ROCK OF AGES' lead producers and co-owners of the LA-based Corner Store Entertainment, have two films in the top dramatic category at Sundance Film Festival. Ruthie Henshall will return to 'CHICAGO' to reprise the role of ‘Roxie Hart' from Monday 14 December for nine weeks only (14 December - 28 February). Ruthie Henshall originated the role of ‘Roxie Hart' in 1997 - for which she was nominated for a Laurence Olivier Award - when 'CHICAGO' first conquered the West End. As Ruthie Henshall is contracted to other commitments for selected performances between 28 December - 2 January, Bonnie Langford will play the role of ‘Roxie' for these performances. Bonnie comes to London direct from playing the role of ‘Roxie' on Broadway.
