Theatre Jacksonville has announced its theatrical offerings for the 2012-2013 season.

Market Theatre will present Little Foot on th Main Stage from 13 Jul 2012 - 19 Aug 2012. The new play by Craig Higginson is directed by Malcolm Purkey and features production design by Neil Coppen.

With 10 days, 80 theatre groups, 33 locations, performance, live art, (music) theatre, dance & uninhibited energy, the Amsterdam Fringe Festival is one of the events of the summer in the Netherlands.

The stage is set for the Dutch theatre event of the year. with the Netherlands Theatre Festival, running September 1 through September 11, 2012.

The Netherlands will play host to two major performing arts festivals in August, offering a wide array of offerings.

On Tuesday, October 9, 2012, the Barrymore Theatre will welcome Henry Rollins in his one-man show, Capitalism. For better than a quarter century, Rollins has toured the world as a spoken word artist, as frontman for both Rollins Band and Black Flag and - without a microphone - as a solitary traveler with insatiable curiosity bypassing the resorts in favor of places like Siberia and Senegal, or Burma and Bangladesh. Four Seasons Theatre has announced its 8th season, which will feature She Loves Me, The Gershwin Songbook, and Avenue Q.

Beginning Friday, August 10, Four Seasons Theatre's production of A Little Night Music will take the stafe at The Playhouse at the Overture Centre for the Arts, showcasing musical theatre talent, a production team, and a chamber orchestra from across the Madison area.

Ben Cross, Nigel Havers, Nicholas Farrell and Alice Krige, stars of the original 1981 film Chariots of Fire, made a surprise visit to the Gielgud Theatre last night, July 10, to meet with the actors currently performing in Edward Hall's five star stage production of the same name. The stage cast, led by James McArdle, Jack Lowden, Tam Williams, Mark Edel-Hunt and Savannah Stevenson were introduced to their film character counterparts and to an excited audience at the Gielgud Theatre. Hugh Hudson, Director of the original film and co-producer of the new stage adaptation joined actors from both film and stage at this unique curtain call.

This morning, July 11, Broadway favorite Cheyenne Jackson visited Good Day New York to share a new tune from his upcoming album, due in August, entitled 'Before You.' His first single off the album, 'Drive' was released on May 10 and is currently available on iTunes. Yesterday afternoon Max Page, the boy who played "little Darth Vader" in the Volkswagen commercial last year, visited New York and had the chance to meet James Earl Jones back stage at Gore Vidal's THE BEST MAN. During the visit, Max Page asked James Earl Jones all about his career and the two talked shop about theatre, film, and voiceovers!

RAIN: A Tribute To The Beatles will take the stage at Centrepointe Theatre on August 7, 2012 for a limited run through August 12, 2012.

Eric Coates will be the next Artistic Director of the Great Canadian Theatre Company, the theatre recently announced. Mr. Coates will be stepping down from his current position as the Artistic Director of the Blyth Festival, where he has worked in a variety of disciplines since 1995 and joining the GCTC team in September.

The Great Canadian Theatre Company will present The Secret Mask, written by Rick Chafe and directed by Ann Hodges, from September 11 through September 30, 2012.

Williamstown Theatre Festival Artistic Director Jenny Gersten announced today the full cast and creative team for A Month in the Country, the last Main Stage production of the season which will be presented from August 1 through August 19 (opening August 2). The cast began rehearsals today on the idyllic Williams College campus in preparation for their run in the Festival's 2012 season.

On August, 17, 2012, OKC Theatre Company will host a festive celebration of its 13th season with all of the actors and artists who made this past years' productions possible at Bricktown Brewery. Various awards will be presented for excellent work throughout the season, and Donna Mackie will be awarding the annual "Mackie Award for Excellence" in memory of her husband, long-time OKCTC Company and Board Member, Harvey Mackie.
