Broadway star Brent Barrett will be joined by singer Kim Criswell for a concert of Rodgers and Hammerstein selections as a part of the Birmingham Symphony Orchestra's 'Friday Classics' series. The event, taking place Friday, July 2, will be conducted by John Wilson.

Broadway veteran Elaine Stritch will be the honored guest at the upcoming screening of the film 'All About Eve' at the Ziegfeld Theatre in Manhattan on March 23rd. The showing part of the Turner Classic Movies' 'Road to Hollywood Tour.' Robert Osborne will host.

The production of WHITE'S LIES, originally scheduled to begin off-Broadway previews March 22nd, will be postponed until April 12th, with an official opening night of May 6th. The production has been delayed due to scheduling conflicts.

Opera star Angela Gheorghiu will take over the role of Mimi in the Puccini Opera LA BOHEME at the Metropolitan Opera beginning on March 20th. Gheorguhiu will replace the current star, Anna Netrebko, in the role.

Lauren Kennedy will perform at The Canal Room on April 4th for a concert entitled 'Lauren Kennedy and the Freakers Ball.' Kennedy will be joined by a number of Broadway veterans, including Julia Burrows, Michelle Kinney, Alan Campbell, Gina Stewart, and Max Von Essen. The concert will begin at 8:00pm.

The Archlight Theater will present René de Ceccatty's adaptation of LADY OF THE CAMELIAS beginning April 14th and running through April 25th. The French language production will star Nastasia Many.

Broadway In Chicago has announced the complete 2010/2011 Broadway In Chicago Season Series. Instead of the previously announced GOD OF CARNAGE, Broadway in Chicago will instead present Irving Berlin's WHITE CHRISTMAS, in addition to the previously announced schedule.

Following Time Out Critics' Choice at the White Bear Theatre and a transfer to Oval House, Good Night Out Presents a new re-imagined production of Daniel Reitz's STUDIES FOR A PORTRAIT for an eight-week run at the King's Head Theatre, beginning March 30th and running through May 23rd.

Due to the current economic conditions, the Candlelight Dinner Playhouse has recently decided to discontinue its equity affiliations for the 2010-2011 season.

Flashdance The Musical will open in the West End at the Shaftesbury Theatre this autumn. Previewing from 24 September 2010 with press night on 14 October, Flashdance The Musical is currently booking until 26 February 2011.

'Dancing with the Stars' celeb professionals Louis Van Amstel and Jonathan Roberts will make guest appearances at MAMMOJAM 2010, a dance club benefit on April 1 at the Rise Club in the Hollywood and Highland Complex. Beginning at 7:00pm, this dance party is guaranteed to raise the roof, all the while raising money for The Dr. Susan Love Research Foundation's pioneering breast cancer research dedicated to moving beyond a cure and ending the disease, once and for all.

The Philly Improv Theater has announced the schedule for their upcoming 'Schubin Week,' which begins March 29th. The week will consist of a number of shows and performances by member of the Philly Improv team.

Christine Ebersole, Charles Busch and Jackie Hoffman have been announced to be guest judges at The Broadway Beauty Pageant, Broadway's fourth annual all-male beauty contest, set for Monday evening, April 19th, 8p.m., at Symphony Space (2537 Broadway at 95th St.). The popular event is the annual spring benefit of New York's Ali Forney Center. As previously announced, Four-time Tony nominated and Drama Desk Award-winning actress Tovah Feldshuh will host. Additional participants, including contestants, are to be announced.

On March 24th, the Museum of Comic and Cartoon Art (MoCCA) will host a conversation with cartooning legend Jules Feiffer with Danny Fingeroth. Feiffer will be discussing his new autobiography Backing Into Forward: A Memoir.

Following their nomination for the 2010 Broadway In Chicago Emerging Theater Award, Caffeine Theatre has announced two new events relating to their Jeff-recommended production of WILD NIGHTS WITH EMILY, currently running at Lincoln Square Arts Center.

Tonight, 'Idol' was forced to let go of the first of the top 12. After a night of good performances, it's tough to see the performers go home, but it's clear that some deserve it more than others. The bottom three on the night were Lacey Brown, Paige Miles, and Tim Urban, the three performers who had the weakest performances. The drama was high tonight, as 'Idol' as we found out who would be the first to go.

The cast continues to grow for the upcoming 'Smurfs: The Movie.' According to the Hollywood reporter, SPAMALOT's Hank Azaria and GLEE star Jayma Mays will join the star studded group for the upcoming animated film.

The Studio Theatre has announced their 2010-2011 season. The full eleven-production lineup continues the Theatre's ongoing commitment to the highest quality, cutting-edge writing and thrilling performances. The coming season covers territory from a rundown Chicago donut shop to a sweltering beach deep in the Louisiana bayou. A new production of the Henrik Ibsen classic, GHOSTS, will premiere at the West End's Duchess theatre on March 27th. The production is a new interpretation by author Frank McGuinness and stars Lesley Sharp, Iain Glen, Harry Treadaway, Jessica Raine and Malcolm Storry.

The Public Theater held the opening night of Suzan-Lori Parks' new play, THE BOOK OF GRACE, on March 16th. THE BOOK OF GRACE weaves the story of three people bound together by love and longing, passion and ambition.
