In the first event of the New York Philharmonic Offstage season, Grammy-winning mezzo-soprano Joyce DiDonato will join WQXR host Jeff Spurgeon at The David Rubenstein Atrium at Lincoln Center for a discussion of her upcoming concerts with the New York Philharmonic.

La banda, que debutó con 9 músicos en la 3er Edición de Klezfiesta, llevada a cabo en octubre de 2010; cuenta actualmente con 10 músicos, y es una orquesta muy ecléctica que conjuga diversos subestilos del género, con recursos camarísticos y orquestales, interpretando principalmente el repertorio clásico y tradicional, aunque también incursiona en las composiciones más modernas, expresando así todos los estados de ánimo y atmósferas que sugiere esta música.

Calixto Bieito has began rehearsals for a production of Camino Real by Tennessee Williams for the Goodman's Albert Theatre, Chicago. The play will run March 3 to April 8.

Barrington Stage Company today announced that the previously announced production of Arthur Miller's The Price has been dropped from their 2012 Mainstage season because a Broadway revival is planned of the show. In its place will be Miller's 1947 Tony winning play All My Sons.

A worldwide series of free concerts has been arranged by The Japan Foundation to convey the Japanese people's gratitude to the global community for their support during the Japanese Earthquake and Tsunami. On Tuesday, March 6 at 7:30 PM, The Japan Foundation will present 'Overcoming the Disaster: Gratitude from Japan to the World,' at the Rose Theater in New York City.

The cast of Grey's Anatomy will perform Grey's Anatomy: The Songs Beneath the Show at Royce Hall on the UCLA campus at 8pm on March 18 to raise money for The Actors' Fund, according to Playbill.com.

The A Stage Kindly New Musical Theatre Initiative in association with Knockhardy Productions today announced that Roll on The Day, a musical drama by Laurence Mark Wythe, composer and lyrics, and Roberto Trippini, book and lyrics, will receive its World premiere at the Etcetera Theatre, London, in March/April 2012.

In celebration of Valentine's day, tomorrow Feb 14th, Spider-Man's Chris Tierney and Natalie Lomonte made this video on the New York subway to spread the love. Filmed by fellow cast member Rebecca Faulkenberry, the short film tells the story of a chance encounter between two young New Yorkers during the early hours of the morning.
