On Monday, April 27, at 7:00pm in Carnegie Hall, The New York Pops honored Feinstein's at Loews Regency on its tenth anniversary and congratulates Michael Feinstein and Jonathan Tisch for leading this great New York institution.

PROJECT SHAW, now in its third of its four year series, continues tackling every play George Bernard Shaw ever wrote. The group recently gave the 37th presentation. The rarely performed comedies by George Bernard Shaw were presented on Monday, APRIL 20th at 7pm at the Players Club, 16 Gramercy Park South. David Staller was producer and director.

The production officially opened, Sunday, April 19th. and BWW was there to join in on all the 'historic' celebration!

The New York Pops presented Once Upon a Time and Tomorrow: The Best of Charles Strouse at Carnegie Hall on Friday, April 3 at 8:00 PM with conductor Martin Yates. This concert was a tribute to the Tony Award-winning composer of Annie, Applause and Bye Bye Birdie. Accompanying The New York Pops were guest artists Gregg Edelman, Debbie Gravitte, Rebecca Luker, Karen Mason, Emma Rowley and Eric Jordan Young. The Young People's Chorus of New York City, directed by Francisco Núñez, were also featured in the evening's program.

Now in its ninth season, the critically acclaimed Broadway By The Year series is known for great singing and spectacular Broadway dancing. 'LOVE SONGS' continued to seduce New Yorkers every Saturday evening for the last number of weeks, on Saturday, March 28th, Barbour played his final concert before heading into rehearsals for Paper Mill Playhouse's 1776. He was joined by special guests including John Schuck, Georgia Warner, Jessica Grové, and Aaron Ramey. SARDI'S is located at 234 West 44th Street - between Broadway & Eighth Avenue.

'LOVE SONGS' continues to seduce New Yorkers every Saturday and on Saturday, March 21st, Barbour was joined by special guest Robert Cuccioli.

The National Foundation for Facial Reconstruction (NFFR) presented Broadway for Medicine II featuring funny-lady Julie Halston (Hairspray, Sex and the City) and 'Professor of all things Broadway,' Sirius/XM Satellite Radio host Seth Rudetsky along with some very exciting special guests. The event took place on Monday, March 9, 2009 at Cipriani 42nd Street.

The Drama Desk, the organization of professional writers, critics and columnists who cover all sectors of New York theater, held its first Panel Discussion/Dinner of the 2008/2009 theater season on Monday, February 2, at Tony's Di Napoli Restaurant, 147 West 43rd Street, in Times Square.

James Barbour premiered his new concert series, entitled 'LOVE SONGS' on Saturday, January 31st with Broadway's Lauren Kennedy as his special guest.
