The show that revolutionized musical theater is coming to Segerstrom Center for the Arts in Orange County for eight performances January 17 - 22.

Live Nation Entertainment (LYV: NYSE), the leading live entertainment and eCommerce company, today announced key appointments to the New York office and the North American Touring team. Veteran entertainment executive and concert promoter Alan Ostfield will fill the newly created position of President, North Atlantic for Live Nation encompassing the New York and Philadelphia regions. Jason Miller is named President of New York for Live Nation. He replaces Kevin Morrow who will return to his hometown of Los Angeles to join the North American Touring office as Senior Vice President. Ron Delsener will continue in his role as Chairman of the New York market. Geoffrey Gordon remains President of Philadelphia, taking on an expanded role as tour producer. 'Alan comes to Live Nation with an incredible wealth of experience in managing major sports and entertainment businesses and facilities,' said Mark Campana, Co-President of North America Concerts. 'Jason Miller who will be running our New York office has deep artist relationships from his work over the last 20 years, and then add in the iconic Ron Delsener, I believe we have a big team playing in New York.'

New York: The critically-acclaimed family musical, now in an open-ended run, will offer special holiday performances featuring an interactive sing-a-long after each performance of the Bear Country favorite, "Jingle Bears!" Now performing at the Marjorie S. Dean Little Theatre (10 West 64th Street), the Special Holiday schedule will include the usual post-show activities including dancing, face-painting, and photos with the Bears will still take place alongside the holiday sing-along.

Comedian Jim Gaffigan will perform at the Civic Center of Great Des Moines on Sunday, March 18 at 7 pm. Tickets go on sale to the general public at 9 a.m. on Thursday, Dec. 1 at the Civic Center.

A popular staple of the Las Vegas entertainment experience, "Sandy Hackett's Rat Pack Show" is hitting the road for a highly anticipated U.S. theater tour. Salt Lake City, UT - The Grand Theatre Community Institute in association with Intermountain Health Care and Corporate Staging Resources will hold auditions for an in school touring musical program LiVe! offered to schools throughout Utah in Spring of 2012. Auditions will be held on Saturday December 17th, 2011 from 11: 00 A.M. until 1:00 P.M. at the Grand Theatre Alumni Room located at 1575 South State Street in Salt Lake City.

Directed by Ashley Goverman, a Mansfield High School Senior, Choreographed by Emily Levine, a Mansfield High School Junior, and Music Directed by Un-Common veteran Linda Barbieri (Attleboro, MA), this show will feature a cast of first through sixth graders and will be performed at Qualters Middle School in Mansfield, MA March 16th-18th, 2012.

Award-winning playwright, screenwriter and artist Philip Ridley will be celebrated in Spring 2012 with a 21st anniversary revival of his electrifying debut play The Pitchfork Disney, and the world premiere of his new play Shivered.

'America, open your arms to a poor wandering soul.' These opening lyrics set the tone for this epic musical adventure. Set in 1907 (the peak immigration year), this sweeping musical tracks the lives of two Irish immigrant couples as they struggle to make a life for themselves in New York City. The story unfolds against a backdrop of the fight for women's suffrage and the contrasting lifestyles of the super rich and New York's underclass.

In the first of several high-profile appearances this season, Italian bass-baritone Luca Pisaroni earned universal acclaim for his star turn as Leporello in the Metropolitan Opera's new production of Mozart's Don Giovanni, which ran from October 13-November 11. He sang alongside such talents as Peter Mattei and Mariusz Kwiecien (as Don Giovanni), Barbara Frittoli (Donna Elvira) and Ramón Vargas (Don Ottavio), led by Met principal conductor Fabio Luisi.

At a press conference on Tuesday, November 15, Florida Studio Theatre announced a multi-year capital improvement campaign to renovate the 6,000 sq. foot Gompertz Theatre and construct an 18,000 sq. foot addition with two new theatre spaces. The $5.6 million dollar campaign is the largest capital program in the 37-year old theatre's history and will double the number of renovated stages on the theatre's campus located in Sarasota's historic downtown.
