Disney's THE LITTLE MERMAID (Producer Thomas Schumacher) debuts a new recording of the show's ballad 'Her Voice' performed by Drew Seeley, now starring in the hit Broadway show as Prince Eric. Written for the stage musical by legendary composer and eight-time Academy Award winner Alan Menken and lyricist Glenn Slater, the song was produced as a pop ballad for Seeley by Brian Malouf (Vice President of A&R, Walt Disney Records).

ContactMusic reports that British stage and screen actor Dominic Cooper considered turning down an audition for the film version of the stage hit Mamma Mia! - because he didn't think he would be good enough to sing Abba songs in the film. Performances began on Thursday, June 4th. Opening night was Wednesday, June 10th. The show, originally scheduled to close on June 28th, will now run through Sunday, July 12th.

It was announced today that Billy Crystal will bring 700 SUNDAYS, his Tony Award-winning Broadway blockbuster, to six cities for limited engagements this fall, launching at Washington, D.C.'s National Theatre September 8 - 17. The tour will also play Philadelphia, Dallas, Palm Beach, Miami and Atlanta. 700 SUNDAYS, a play performed and written by Mr. Crystal with additional content by Alan Zweibel is directed by two-time Tony Award winner Des McAnuff.
