Broadway/San Diego announced today that tickets for the long-awaited return WICKED will go on sale to the public on Sunday, April 19th from 7AM-10AM, in person only at the San Diego Civic Theatre Ticket Office.

The Shakespeare Society (Michael Sexton, Artistic Director) has announced that the Shakespeare Birthday Marathon, a FREE five-hour celebration of the Bard's 445th birthday, will take place Sunday, April 26, 3:30 - 8:30pm at Peter Norton Symphony Space, 2537 Broadway at 95th Street. The Chicago Company of JERSEY BOYS welcomes three new, talented performers to the cast - Michael Cunio as Tommy DeVito, Dominic Scaglione Jr. as Frankie Valli and Shonn Wiley as Bob Gaudio. Variety is reporting that stage and screen star Michael Sheen has joined the 'Twilight' film series. Summit Entertainment has tapped Sheen for the sequel 'The Twilight Saga: New Moon,' which began shooting last month in Vancouver.

La MaMa E.T.C. presents Ellen Stewart's world-premiere play AESCULAPIUS -- the first known play to tell the story of the ancient Greek god of medicine and healing -- featuring an international cast from the acclaimed Great Jones Repertory Company at La MaMa E.T.C. Conceived, written, and directed by the legendary Ellen Stewart, AESCULAPIUS tells how the son of sun god Apollo and mortal maiden Coronis transcends to his rightful place in the heavens because of his great work in medicine. It is believed that Aesculapius' story has never before been told on stage.
