Nationally known business leader Mellody Hobson has been named a Contributor and Analyst on Finance and the Economy for CBS News, it was announced today by CBS News Chairman and 60 MINUTES Executive Producer Jeff Fager and David Rhodes, President, CBS News. Her appointment is effective Jan. 20.

'Riley Parks' is back!! Lifetime's hit drama series THE CLIENT LIST, starring and executive produced by Golden Globe(R) Award nominee Jennifer Love Hewitt, will return for its long-awaited second season on Sunday, March 10, at 10:00pm ET/PT. Leading up to THE CLIENT LIST's return, Lifetime will air mini-marathons of the series' first season on Sunday, March 3, and Sunday, the 10th. Last year THE CLIENT LIST propelled Lifetime to number one in the Sunday 10:00pm time period among Women 18+.

THE TALK, CBS's daytime talk show, delivered its largest weekly audience ever and posted its best women 18-49 ratings since September, according to Nielsen live plus same day ratings for the week ending Jan. 13.

TNT has given the greenlight to Marshal Law: Texas (working title), a new unscripted drama from Warner Horizon Television, Jerry Bruckheimer Television (JBTV) and Megalomedia Inc. The network has ordered six episodes of the series, which is being executive-produced by JBTV's Jerry Bruckheimer and Jonathan Littman, along with Megalomedia's Jonathan Nowzaradan. Jerry Bruckheimer Television's KristieAnne Reed is co-executive producer.

CBS SUNDAY MORNING posted a 3.9/10 with 5.47m viewers, 1.4/07 in adults 25-54. Compared to the same day last year, CBS SUNDAY MORNING was up +5% in households (from 3.7/10).

According to the LA Times, Walt Disney studios has canceled their plan to release THE LITTLE MERMAID in 3-D this September. This decision arrives after poor box office performances for the 3-D re-releases of several other Disney films.
