Christine Benson

Christine Benson Christine Benson is a dancer by trade, receiving a BFA in Dance Performance from Arizona State University and completing her early dance training at various studios in the Chicago area including Joel Hall, Gus Giordano, and Lou Conte. She began performing at an early age, and was a founding member of the Phoenix-based Rayn Dance Theatre. While living in Phoenix, Christine was also a participant in the groundbreaking motione project that incorporated real time motion capture technologies and motion analysis techniques. With her U.S. performance credits spanning from New York and Chicago to Phoenix and San Diego, she made her digital performance debut in Istanbul, Turkey, in 2005. Christine has had the opportunity to work with many talented artists over the years, including choreographers Marlies Yearby, Mark Haim, Kirby Reed, Fred Darsow, Teri and Oliver Steele, Kim Karpanty, Mary Fitzgerald, Karen Schupp, and Neta Pulvermacher. Beyond her involvement in dance, Christine also has a passion for educating children and is currently studying to become a certified personal trainer.
