Each story is a unique take on classic fairy tales, but unfortunately, there is hardly any semblance of the originals as these stories remain strange and often quite disturbing.

Joseph Gallo's male-bonding play about three friends from New Jersey is a hilarious insight in the typical male ego as it relates to women, sports, beer.... and of course, male friendship. The pact they make is to "kidnap" and prevent the third friend from making poor decisions, hence the "Two-Man Kidnapping Rule."

Brits Off Broadway's 'Bunny' is presented as part of a three-series package at 59E59 Theaters. Maybe it would be better to present a two-series package instead.

What do you get when you combine a farting performer, a sex-crazed theatre director, and a bunch of scantily-clad can-can dancers? Not only a story that's true to life, but one that's actually quite compelling.

Alison Fraser, Alysia Reiner, and Jill Shackner, together, are a powerful force to be reckoned with. A Charity Case opened Off-Broadway at the Clurman Theatre and gives us an insightful look into the private lives of a 17-year old adopted daughter who is torn between her biological mother, adoptive mother, and finding her own identity somewhere in between.

Say Goodnight Gracie opened Off-Broadway at the St. Luke's Theatre with all the charm, style and sophistication you'd expect from George Burns' legendary years in the spotlight.

'THE FARTISTE', A Musical Comedy, will open Off-Broadway, at Sofia's Downstairs (221 West 46th Street) on Thursday, November 3rd.

Although acoustically favorable to the strings, the Southern Theatre hosted a new (and not improved) Columbus Symphony Orchestra format which fell flat on many levels.

For the first time in the CSO's 60-year history, four of the 12 Masterworks programs will be performed at the Southern Theatre. In an effort to create a more personal and informal experience for Southern Theatre audiences, the CSO will introduce a few format changes beginning with the String Summit program October 21-23.

The Columbus Symphony Orchestra kicked off its Pops series with 'Opera to Broadway', where Canadian Conductor, Jean-Marie Zeitouni, took the audience through a journey of popular music, from 19th Century opera to Broadway favorites, and back to operetta, merging all genres into one expressive, cohesive performance.

Diana Ross was a well-oiled machine on Tuesday night at the Ohio Theatre, and her voice surely did not falter. Ms. Ross dazzled the Columbus audience with her style as well as her timeless classics, despite her lack of audience connection.
