Alice Smith returns to the Blue Note for a special series of intimate acoustic performances on June 1 and 2. Following her debut release, For Lovers, Dreamers & Me, Rolling Stone Magazine listed her as one of the top ten artists to watch in 2006, writing 'Smith could easily be lumped in with expressive chanteuses like Norah Jones and Alicia Keys, but she has a broader palette than either.' Smith was nominated for a Grammy in '07 in the Best Urban/Alternative category, and her songs have been featured on numerous TV shows including Entourage and The L Word. For her Blue Note performances, Smith will be performing new acoustic material.

TNT has given the greenlight to the buddy lawyer series FRANKLIN & BASH, starring Mark-Paul Gosselaar (NYPD Blue, TNT's Raising the Bar) and Breckin Meyer (Heroes). TNT has ordered 10 episodes of the series, which is produced by Four Sycamore Productions, Left Coast Productions and FanFare Productions in association Sony Pictures Television. FRANKLIN & BASH is executive-produced by Jamie Tarses (TNT's HawthoRNe, TBS's My Boys), Kevin Falls (Shark, The West Wing) and Bill Chais (Shark, Dirty Sexy Money). Falls and Chais wrote the pilot.

TBS has given the greenlight to the one-hour comedy series GLORY DAZE, a 1980s-set college comedy starring Kelly Blatz (Aaron Stone), Callard Harris (Sons of Anarchy), Matt Bush (High School), Drew Seeley (Freshman Father), Hartley Sawyer (Killian), Julianna Guill (My Alibi) and Tim Meadows (Saturday Night Live, Mean Girls). TBS has ordered eight episodes of the series, which was created by Walt Becker (Wild Hogs) and Michael LeSieur (You, Me and Dupree). GLORY DAZE is slated to premiere on TBS in late 2010.
