The Staff and Board of Trustees of Know Theatre have announced the resignation of Artistic Director, Jason Bruffy. Bruffy will be moving to Salt Lake City, Utah to become the new Executive Artistic Director at the Salt Lake Acting Company (SLAC). SLAC's 2009-2010 season opens on September 18th, so Bruffy's departure will be expedited that he may arrive in time to open their season.

On hand for the celebration was the comedic star of stage and screen Carole Cook, who was introduced by GMCLA's Artistic Director, Hywel Sims, as a great friend to both GMCLA as well as the Gay community at large. The evening included a performance by GMCLA's own NPYNK performing a Show Business/Hollywood medley ('There's no Business Like Show Business' & 'Hooray for Hollywood') and 'Tonight' from West Side Story.
