A simple dinner party devolves into hilarious chaos and linguistic acrobatics in Eugene Ionesco's comic masterpiece The Bald Soprano. The cutting-edge Garage Theatre Group concludes its 17th season with a new translation of Ionesco's absurdist triumph. The Bald Soprano will play April 21 through May 8 at the Becton Theatre on the Campus of Fairleigh Dickinson University, 960 River Road in Teaneck.

According to the Hollywood Reporter, Twentieth Television announced a development deal on Wednesday with Ricki Lake for a daytime talk show pegged for a possible fall 2012 launch. The hourlong show, which would be filmed in Los Angles, will cover topics such as marriage, divorce, parenting and weight loss, close to the single mother's heart.

Every apartment window offers glimpses of the lives inside. In the dramatic anthology Night Windows, The Shelter presents three one-act works each with a nocturnal look at the inhabitants of one apartment at different places in time: people forced to face a moment of great change, whether they want to or not. NJPAC, which will be hosting an upcoming touring production of A CHORUS LINE, is hoping to break a Guinness record by amassing 1,629 chorus dancers at The Shops at Riverside in Hackensack, NJ this Saturday. The current record for Guinness' 'World's Largest Chorus Line' was set in 2004 and consisted of 1,628 dancers.
