This Tuesday and Thursday, April 13 and 15, Andrew Palermo, Artistic Director of dre.dance, will appear at The Directors Studios in Minneapolis, MN. Andrew's appearance on the 13th will be a Dance Master Class from 6-7:30 pm. On April 15, Andrew will host a lecture and demonstration from 6:30-8pm.

Starting May 2 thru September 19, The Jewish Museum in NYC will premiere the two exhibits, South African Photographs: David Goldblatt and South African Projection: Films by William Kentridge.

Superstar, songwriter, musician, singer, producer, Neil Sedaka returns to the Van Wezel on Friday, April 19 at 8 pm, to perform some of his greatest hits, such as; 'Breaking Up Is Hard to Do', 'Laughter In The Rain', 'Next Door to an Angel', 'Calendar Girl' and more. Burning Coal Theatre Company of Raleigh, NC will present two plays in repertory, the North Carolina premiere of GEE'S BEND by Elyzabeth Gregory Wilder and the world premiere of SOUTHEASTERN CENTER FOR CONTEMPORARY ARTS by Angus MacLachlan April 15 - May 2, 2010 at Meymandi Theatre at the Murphey School.

The Center for the Arts in Natick (TCAN) has just released dates for upcoming events for the month of April. First up, on Friday, April 9, is National folk star, Ellis Paul performing selections from his latest CD, 'The Day After Everything Changed'. Then, on Saturday, April 10, there will be a performance by the all-vocal rock band, Five O'Clock Shadow. Other events and performers include, Music and Dance from My Childhood, Tangled Tales from Dan Hicks and The Hot Licks, Raucous Chicago Blues, The Fourth Annual TCAN Golf Tournament and the last round of TCAN's children's classes.

On Stage Theatrical Productions, Inc. located in Fall River, MA, will perform GEPPETTO AND SON Saturday and Sunday, May 22 & 23, 2010. The cast stars John Tavares as Geppetto, Sarah Mello as Pinocchio, Kelly Camara as the Blue Fairy, and Jeff Belanger as Stromboli. The two performances feature returning guest Director, Michael Coury, along with Musical Director, Roger Botelho. GEPPETTO AND SON is produced and choreographed by Linda Mercer-Botelho.

German-South African native, VJ Kathi Von Koerber, is set to digitally release Footsteps in Africa Soundtrack: Nomadic Remix, on Earth Day (April 22, 2010). Physical copies of Von Koerber's album will be available June 1, 2010. As the soundtrack for the 2009 movie, 'Footsteps in Africa: A Nomadic Journey', the album echoes the Tuaregs' own distant roots, which stretch back through North African to Spain and Yemen to India. Fifteen percent of all profits from the remix album will be returned to the community, to support clean water projects. Von Koerber, KiahKeya Productions, the Indigenous Cultural Educational Center and Tuareg community leaders are teaming up to help the Nomadic Villagers Clean Water Awareness Fund.

Now thru April 25, Stone Soup Theatre in Seattle, Washington presents THE VAGINA MONOLOGUES: 10 ANNIVERSARY EDITION! This version of the play will include five new monologues, presented by five multi-ethnic, gender-diverse women. The two casts feature Janet Hietter, Melissa Malloy, Joan Patrie, Marisol Sanchez, Heather Ward for Fridays and Sundays. Camille Campbell, Geni Hawkins, Frances Hearn, Aidan Karamanyan, Melissa Topscher are featured Thursdays and Saturdays.

Live at The Soundstage Productions at Crestwood Mall's ArtSpace on Saturday, April 24, St Louis' Improv Trick presents the Megaphone Comedy Tour. Troupe performers Chris, Tami, Clay and Amanda showcase their long-form improv with emphasis on organic shifts. They follow characters, themes, environments - whatever is most entertaining to the audience.

This Friday, April 9, singer/songwriter/pianist/composer, Elizabeth Doyle, will appear at at Little Bucharest Bistro for a Friday Night Cabaret. Elizabeth has music-directed four musicals for Emerald City Theater Company in Chicago, including the recent holiday production HANSEL AND GRETEL. Performing selections out of The Great American Songbook, she will be joined by Jamie Brady, Scott Gryder, Claudia Hommel, Jo Rainey, Carol Weston, as well as some surprise guests!

The New York Transit Museum has released their upcoming events for the spring and summer, including exhibitions, special events and the Annual Nostalgia Train excursions. Other events include The Atlantic Avenue Artwalk, KidsDay and an exhibit featuring 25 years of Transit art.

On Thursday, April 8, the cast of the new Off-Broadway play, THE TEMPERAMENTALS, will present their drawing on the wall at The Palm. In celebration of two Lortel Award Nominations, including Outstanding Play and Outstanding Lead Actor for Michael Urie, cast members Michael Urie from TV's 'Ugly Betty', Thomas Jay Ryan from Broadway's IN THE NEXT ROOM, Arnie Burton from the original Broadway cast of 39 STEPS, Matthew Schneck and Sam Breslin Wright will all be present. Additionally, the cast will be celebrating what would have been Harry Hay's belated 98th birthday (Wednesday, April 7).

Jazzmobile Presents Vocalfest --- four weekends in April paying homage to Jazz Appreciation Month. New to Jazzmobile's events this year, Vocalfest is a month-long celebration paying tribute to jazz vocalists of the past and present. Starting Friday, April 9, Lynette Washington, winner of Jazzmobile's 2005 Jazz Vocal Competition, will perform. Lynette has worked with artists such as Aretha Franklin, U2, and Peter Gabriel. Cynthia Holiday, a New Jersey native and contemporary jazz singer, will follow on Saturday, April 10.

Olympia Entertainment located in Detroit has scheduled numerous events for the approaching months including Frankie Vallie and The Four Seasons, comedians Tim Allen, Jerry Seinfeld and Wanda Sykes, Tyler Perry's MADEA'S BIG HAPPY FAMILY, and The Pointer Sisters. Starting this month, these and other performances are planned through October.

Margaret Edson's Pulitzer Prize winning play, WIT, will be presented Thursday-Sunday, April 22-25 and April 29-May 2 at the Hershey Area Playhouse. First produced off-Broadway in 1999, WIT stars Debbie Voight as a patient undergoing treatment for ovarian cancer.

St. Louis' favorite - and only - parody theatre company, MAGIC SMOKING MONKEY THEATRE, presents the return of THE ONE-HOUR STAR WARS TRILOGY: LIVE! April 23 - May 8 at the Regional Arts Commission Studio Theatre.
