BREAKING DOWN THE RIFFS is a hit web series featuring YouTube Sensation, Natalie Weiss, “breaking down” her favorite riffs for singers of all skill levels. From Beyonce to Smokie Norful, Natalie fearlessly and systematically tackles complicated riffs with her quirky sense of humor and positive attitude, making even the most impossible-sounding riffs approachable, fun, and easy to learn. The show’s motto: With a little practice and determination, ANYONE CAN RIFF! #BDTR"Natalie recently completed a 2 1/2 year run performing multiple ensemble roles on the Les Mis 25th anniversary tour. In 2010, she made her Broadway debut understudying the Menonettes in Everyday Rapture, starring Sherie Rene Scott. She also performed in the ensemble and understudied Elphaba in the 2nd national tour of Wicked. Natalie was an American Idol season 4 semi-finalist, has performed the National Anthem at Cowboys & Shea Stadium, but is most well known for her Youtube videos. She has gained an international following from her performance videos & popular web series, “Breaking Down The Riffs”, which have collectively reached over 3 million views. Natalie released her self-titled debut CD in early 2011 and has been giving sold out solo concerts and master classes across the country.

I am so honored and thrilled to be the first guest So You Think You Can Dance recapper for BWW! It is now 2:15 A.M. and I am putting together my A.D.D. notes into cohesive sentences after watching tonight's episode on DVR. (I got home at midnight from judging the semi-finals of the weekly competition, 'So You Think You Can Belt' at the West End Theatre uptown) It's pretty ironic that they're on the same night of the week.
