Plane Crazy opened at the NYMF Festival on Saturday Night, September 17th and BroadwayWorld was there!

A party was held on Thursday night, September 15th at Bond 45 to welcome Brooke Shields to the Broadway company of Chicago. Shields joined the company as ROxie Hart on September 9th after a summer-run of the same part in the London production of Chicago.

Songwriters who honed their craft at the famed BMI Lehman Engel Musical Theatre Workshop joined together in song for a one-night-only concert on September 14 at 59E59 Theaters.

On Wednesday, September 14th casts of Off-Broadway shows gathered to take the Second Annual Off-Broadway Family Photo at Dodger Stages.

On Thursday, September 8, 2005 at the Virgin Megastore in Union Square, 4 NYMF shows - The Unknown, 6 Women With Brain Death (or Expiring Minds Want To Know), The View From Here and Isabelle and the Pretty-Ugly Spell showed off their stuff, and BroadwayWorld was there!

On Friday night, September 2nd, the cast of JOY held a Labor Day Weekend party at the Duplex. BroadwayWorld was there along with some friends of the cast!

A press conference for the 2005 NYMF took place on August 30th with a special preview of The Ballad of Bonnie and Clyde, The Big Time, The Mistress Cycle, Nerds://A Musical Software Satire, No Boundaries, Plane Crazy, and Project Footlight.

Silence! the Musical, the unauthorized parody of The Silence of the Lambs is being presented as part of the ninth annual New York International Fringe Festival, and runs through August 28th.

The Two Gentlemen of Verona, the Public Theatre revival of the musical version of Shakespeare's classic, runs through Sunday, September 11th at the Delacorte Theater in Central Park.

Terrence McNally's new play Dedication or The Stuff of Dreams opened at 59E59 Theaters and BroadwayWorld was there to cover the after party!

It was opening night for The Miss Education of Jenna Bush, presented as part of the New York International Fringe Festival - FringeNYC and BroadwayWorld was there!

The multi-talented Bob Stillman performed at Joe's Pub on August 7th to promote his recently-released debut album Come Down Angel

On Sunday, August 7th FLOPZ was presented at Joe's Pub, showcasing some of Broadway's best songs...from flop musicals.

A sneak peak was held for the press on August 3rd for the show which begins performances at Dodger Stages on August 20th, and opens on September 15th.

Members of The Creative Coalition including Marcia Gay-Harden, Gilbert Gottfried, and Arianna Huffington visited Lennon and then hosted a 'Imagine Free Speech' After-Theatre Party and we were there!
