BWW Review: HUMANOLOGY, PETER JÖBACK NEW ALBUMOctober 26, 2018During his entire career, Peter Joback has gone from musical to pop back and forth. In recent years, he has been dedicated to the musicals as he played the Phantom of the Opera Phantom, both in West End, Broadway and Stockholm. However, together with Kathryn Williams, Tobias Froberg and Tobias Karlsson, he has written songs for a new pop album. The first time he released a taste of it was in London almost 4 years ago when he sang 'Beliver' in a stripped version. Now he has recorded 10 songs, all with amazing arrangements with a band, strings and brass with exception of the song, Call Me By Your Name, performed only by a piano. Resound is a perfect choir which, along with the skilled musicians and Peter's voice, completes every song.
BWW Review: FRÅN BROADWAY TILL DUVEMÅLA at Skandiascenen CirkusOctober 18, 2018When Viktoria Tocca moved back to Sweden some years ago she decided that she wanted to set up a musical concert. She rented the concert hall, Berwaldhallen, home for the Swedish Radio symphony orchestra and asked some friends and colleagues to join. It was the start of the tour around Sweden, which is now in the sixth season. Every season, she asked a few musical artists to join in, and even if Sweden is a small country there is quite a few good musical artists to choose between. This season, Viktoria has a new 'baby', the Bridges of Madison County ' which she both produce and plays the female lead role Franseca in. When it comes to the concert tour 'From Broadway to Duvemala', she only do some guest appearance, as tonight in Stockholm, Her baby has grown big and manages herself.
BWW Review: SPRING AWAKENING at Teater PrismaOctober 5, 2018In 2016, West End Stockholm was founded by Thomas Cruetz, Mikael Hansson and Bengt Kampe. and a couple of musicals has been played so far. The name West End Stockholm is genius, as it is located as far west you can go by the subway in Stockholm. What else should you name a production company and in a western suburb in Stockholm.

He's been playing in Les Miserable, My Fair Lady, Sound of Music to mention a few. BWW Review: ON THE TOWN at Kulturhuset Spira, JönköpingSeptember 23, 2018When I was a little girl, the channels in Sweden (SVT) used to send movies on Sunday afternoon and in summertime they showed rain movies if it was raining. There were black and white Swedish or American films, but occasionally they showed some beautiful musical films in technicolor. Beautifully colorful films, with artists like Gene Kelly and Frank Sinatra. On the town was one of the old musical film which now has opening night at the Culture House in Spira. It is the first time it will be played in Skandinavia. Camilla Thulin has created beautiful, colorful dresses which takes you back to that time and gives you that technicolor feeling that spreads joy and a feeling that life is wonderful and everything will be alright. The clothes are really a delight to the eye. It is the women's dresses that represent the colorful element as the men, basically, only sailors in white sailor suits. However the white suits highlight all color.

BWW Review: JESUS CHRIST SUPERSTAR at Eric Ericsson Concert HallAugust 1, 2018The summer in Sweden has been warmer than ever before and it is not a lot than can make me go inside when I can spend the evening at the beach, but when Andrew Lloyd has given permission to a feminist interpretation of Jesus Christ Superstar, I thought I should check this out. It was as hot inside the Eric Ericson Hall as outside, but since I spent the past few weeks acclimatizing myself to the heat spending all days at the beach or in the lake Malaren, which is 26 degrees, that was not a problem.
BWW Review: MAMMA MIA HERE WE GO AGAIN at Filmstaden SergelJuly 17, 2018Mamma Mia - Here we go again is a real feel good movie and if you loved Mamma Mia I'm sure you will love this too. The story in Mamma Mia is not that strong and the story in the sequel is weaker but it doesn't matter as it is build around the music of Abba, songs we all know and love.
