Andy Propst is founder of AmericanTheaterWeb.com (ATW), a nationally recognized theatrical news and production database. In addition to his writing for and editing of ATW, he is featured weekdays on XM Satellite Radio's XM 28 On Broadway channel with national "Broadway and Beyond" reports. His work also appears regularly in Back Stage, The Village Voice and The Sondheim Review. Andy is a member of the ATCA Executive Committee and a Drama Desk Awards voter in New York City. Prior his work as a theater journalist, Andy worked as a fundraiser at the New York Shakespeare Festival for eight years, working with Joe Papp, JoAnne Akalaitis and George C. Wolfe. He holds a Bachelors from the University of Chicago, studied theater at Oxford University and is an alum of the Eugene O'Neill Critics Institute. Videos
