This 2015 Tony Award winning play (Best Play) is based on the best-selling novel by Mark Haddon with the stage adaptation by Simon Stephens. Being the first show of their 2018-19 season, Arts Club did not disappoint with this impeccable show featuring an incredibly talented cast and compelling storyline.

You get a truly amazing show, which is exactly what Fabulist Theatre presented with OUR TIME: AN EMPOWERMENT CABARET. Performed at the Kitsilano Neighbourhood House in Vancouver, I did not know what to expect from this show as it was unlike anything I have attended in the past. Overall, I was pleasantly surprised with the show and enjoyed every single minute of it. With a very minimalist stage setup in the venue paired with a changing coloured lighting display, the voices and stories of the performers were able to stand out in this compelling production.

Highlighting the story of Jean Valjean (Prisoner #24601) in 19th century France, we follow him throughout his life after he is released on parole and strives for a better future. With its action, romance, humor, and drama the touring production of LES MISERABLES is one that appeals to a wide audience leaving each person completely in awe.

Brings A Refreshing New Look To A Classic MusicalMay 20, 2018With its well-known songs such as 'Honey Honey' and 'Dancing Queen,' the beloved story of Sophie Sheridan, her mother Donna, and Sophie's 3 possible fathers: Sam, Harry, and Bill brought many laughs and warmed the hearts of audience members during Mamma Mia's opening night at the Stanley Industrial Alliance Stage in Vancouver. The hit musical featuring the songs of ABBA will continue its run until August 12th. As many are familiar with the movie adaptation of the musical from 2008 starring Amanda Seyfried and Meryl Streep and are excited for the movie's sequel, Mamma Mia: Here We Go Again, this stage production of Mamma Mia from the Vancouver Arts Club couldn't have come at a better time.

Beginning in 1991, the Canadian tour once featured skating legends Kurt Browning and Brian Orser, and has continued ever since with many beloved people from the figure skating world over the years.
BWW Review: MOTOWN: THE MUSICAL Is An Uplifting Blast From The Past!February 8, 2018The minute the curtain was raised and a familiar tune of the Four Tops reached my ears, I knew that both the audience and I were going to be dancing in our seats all night. Throughout the evening, the audience was serenaded with many hits such as the sweet sound of The Temptations singing 'My Girl' and the classic song 'Signed, Sealed, Delivered I'm Yours' by the incredible Stevie Wonder. There was not one moment in the show that I did not absolutely adore.
