This year, Theatre Under the Stars will be playing 2 shows over the course of the summer, one of them being the Broadway musical, THE PROM. THE PROM opened on Tuesday July 11th and will play at Vancouver’s Malkin Bowl in Stanley Park until August 25th alternating nights with Theatre Under the Star’s other musical: MATILDA.

One of the newest artists that have made a mark in the K-Pop scene is the 6 member girl group: SECRET NUMBER. Composed of members: Léa, Dita, Jinny, Minji, Soodam, and Zuu, SECRET NUMBER was formed by Vine Entertainment and debuted in 2020 with the single album, “Who Dis?”

A decade of being a successful business is a goal that many companies and teams strive and dream of. Not only has Vancouver’s famous flying attraction accomplished this, it is also celebrating this feat in the most Canadian way possible: through giving back to others. On June 29th, FlyOver Canada celebrated 10 years of adventure in Vancouver.

At some point in their lives, most people have heard of the musical: CATS. Whether it’s because of its unique costumes or iconic songs, CATS will always be a Broadway classic. This week, Broadway Across Canada and Troika Entertainment brought the musical to the Queen Elizabeth Theatre.

This long weekend, the highly anticipated touring production, JURASSIC WORLD: LIVE, played from May 19th to 21st at Vancouver’s Pacific Coliseum. Filled with thrilling stunts, breathtaking scenery, and (most importantly) many dinosaurs from the Jurassic World franchise, the show was a perfect event for the entire family to enjoy. 

The South Korean K-Pop group, CRAVITY, will kick their 1st world tour: MASTERPIECE into full gear next month! Presented by Studio PAV in the USA, CRAVITY will visit a total of 5 cities in the US and the US territory of Puerto Rico on the American leg of the tour.

Korean-New Zealand singer, songwriter, and producer, MILKY DAY, is set to make big waves in the music industry in 2023. With over 500,000 monthly listeners on Spotify and over 47 million combined plays on his songs alone, he has made quite a name for himself already.

Filled to the brim with flashy dance numbers, classic Broadway tunes, and capped off with a heart fluttering love story, Royal City Musical Theatre's production of CRAZY FOR YOU satisfies all of your musical cravings.

UNEXPECTING, the fully-staged, female-led play will premiere at Vancouver’s Studio 16 this week. Presented by Zee Zee Theatre and written by Vancouver playwright, Bronwyn Carradine, the play will explore modern motherhood between queer partners.

Canadian short-form series, STREAMS FLOW FROM A RIVER, recently premiered this month on April 1st. The series unravels the internal conflicts of an immigrant Chinese Canadian family past and present. South Korean R&B Artist, GEMINI, began his first North American tour this month. With 8 shows in the US and 2 shows in Canada, GEMINI has promised his North American fans a hip hop/ R&B experience they will never forget!
