Allison Newsom

Allison Newsom Allison Newsom has had a love affair with the performing arts since childhood when, seasonally, she would go with her family to see the children's productions at Casa Mañana in Ft. Worth, TX.  Eventually Ms. Newsom began taking dance classes, which evolved into piano lessons, playing the violin, and eventually performing in her first play at the Globe of the Great Southwest in Odessa, TX.  Now in San Antonio, TX, Ms. Newsom is very active in the local community theatre scene as a performer, costume designer, box office manager and frequent spectator.  Having always enjoyed writing, she looks forward to presenting articles, reviews, and individual spotlights to BroadwayWorld.com readers in the hope of strengthening audience attendance at all of San Antonio's great shows.
