BWW Feature: Lyric Theatre Celebrates the Famous Delany Sisters in HAVING OUR SAYFebruary 12, 2020HAVING OUR SAY tells the story of the Delany sisters, two sisters who were born to a former slave and grew up in the Jim Crow South. The Delany sisters both lived to be over 100 years old, and wrote their version of events in the 1993 biography that inspired the play. Lyric's production features two Broadway stars in the roles of Bessie and Sadie.
