Adam Elsayigh Born in Cairo and raised in Dubai and Abu Dhabi, Adam Ashraf Elsayigh is a playwright, translator and educator who works on new plays. While studying playwriting, dramaturgy and global theater in NYU Abu Dhabi, Adam has written a collection of plays, worked with emerging theater companies across the Middle East, South Asia and the U.S., and pursued opportunities to translate Arab drama for English stages.
