AND BEYOND ALL SING THE FORESTS (Stream of Live-Performance) at theater in medias res

Our new theatrical production with the title "And beyond all sing the Forests" is based on the novel "Og bakom synger skogene" by Trygve Gulbranssen. There has already been a 1959 Austrian drama film directed by Paul May and starring Gert Fröbe, Hansjörg Felmy and Joachim Hansen based on the novel.

Thomas Waldkircher and Anja Pirling are directors, actors and their own producers, which have staged almost 7000 live theatre performance touring and in their own theatres in Germany. They also work as translators from the scandinavian languages into German, and they have recently started to work on a new translation of Gulbranssen's novel. They plan to present a stage adaptation of the novel at her residence in Heiligenblut am Großglockner in Austria on the 1. of April 2025. There will be a live stream available online too.
