Following her enormously popular concerts in 2013, celebrated violinist Sarah Chang returns to perform Bruch’s famous Violin Concerto in G minor. A musical collage of textures and snatches of popular song, Charles Ives’ Three Places in New England evokes the hustle and bustle of early twentieth-century America while Nielsen’s explosive Fourth Symphony channels the vital force that governs all living things, in this concert conducted by Sir Andrew Davis.
