In 2025, Opera Australia will present a new production of the classic musical Guys & Dolls as part of Handa Opera on Sydney Harbour. Audiences will be immersed in the vibrant world of 1950s Manhattan, filled with showgirls and gangsters, enhanced by the stunning backdrop of Sydney's skyline. Directed by Jo Davies, the production features an innovative set design by Brian Thomson, known for previous works like La Traviata and West Side Story. With its energetic dance numbers and sharp comedic moments, this adaptation showcases the musical's rich score performed by a full orchestra and talented cast.
